I don’t know if I just got lucky or if others are just washing it in something that discolors it but this jacket is very well made and color stays. I purchased it almost a year ago now in the color gunmetal and it’s just beautiful shade. I use it for work over my tops and skirts or weekend with jeans and it just compliments anything I wear with it. It fits very well and I love all the pockets positioned very eloquently throughout. So, first off, I already have the original navy packable windbreaker in a misses S/Small. Please note: that the counterfeit items are being mislabeled as P/Petite/as in short. Although I(JJ/aL) am a tall/Waif/FiveFeetSevenInches/5foot'7inandasmidge--I liked this style of the jacket so much that I went ahead and bought this one in S/P with the hidden zipper feature, and also the short women’s hooded windbreaker(in black S/P) with the gold snap detail down the front. NOTE: YES, This lite windbreaker design is running true to size, so if you needed the Small Misses in this style the S/P/smallPetite will also fit similarly. Important to note however, that If you are fuller figured or Taller than FivefootEight/5'8, you will need the Medium or larger- so if you normally wear a medium in ColeHaan windbreakers, get that size. Special notes: The jacket will run true to size If you are a female between fivefeetfour and fiveFeetSeven Inches. As a waif-I am standard tall at Five feetSeven in and a smidge-5ft’7in- So depending upon the length and inseams I can shimmy into a longer to thigh S/P/PetitesSmall jacket where I (JJ/aL) would normally buy a traditional misses-Small that can accommodate taller female heights. SoandBut FYI: NO despite The manicured shoulder tailoring this jacket isn’t designed to wear over a blazer or thicker garment- You would need more traditional outerwear to avoid it looking sloppy if you decided to try a bigger size to accommodate a blazer or thick sweater-- - But as the jacket is designed to stop around midthigh, I decided to take the risk, but if your bra/strap size is 36-or-larger you will need the MediumP/M or larger size in this jacket. However the Bow tie Packable Ladies Windbreaker doesNot disappoint in any color, I bought this style in an additional three colors (black/red/litebrownbeige) because I love my navy one so much! Although the give is probably going to be in the seaming under the armpit which is the difference uptop in a standard Small/S and a PetiteshorterSmallP/SP but this is NOT a full length jacket and if you have a standard full bust 34C/32D /Smallinabikini (so) you will love it as you should be able to wear it as designed over lightweight stretchy yogaTee’s type outfits or a buttondown shirt paired with a pencil skirt or slacks. I think the coat is very nice in so many ways. (Style, fit,hood,Packable,length, etc). But it is NOT a raincoat. I was in Scotland and got completely wet with this jacket. There was nothing on Amazon that said “rain resistant” or such. Very disappointed in this Cole Hann product.

I purchased this item in an XS and S. It is a beautiful rain jacket and is well-made. I believe the jacket fits true to size, but it is tailored in the arm/shoulder causing a slight snugness on the top/upper arm when arms are held up. Sizing up did not take care of this, so if it would be bothersome, this jacket might not be for you. Most of the size difference is in the body and length (check measurements below). The S was a bit baggy under the arms and generally too loose on me; because the arms have the same type of fit,and feel, I will keep the XS which I can still wear a sweater with if necessary. I'm 5'5" and this comes a couple of inches above my knee which I think is a great length for a rainy day. I love that this rain jacket is packable. Love this rain jacket! I didn't write down the arm opening measurement (where the sleeve attaches to the shoulder), but the S was only a half inch bigger. Approx. measurements for XS are: chest 35, length 33, arm length, 24, shoulders 16. Approx. measurements for S are: chest 36, length 34, arm length 24.5, shoulders 16.25.

I think I was sold a fake Cole Hahn packable rain jacket. I tried it on when I got it in the spring. It is super cute on and fits well, little long in sleeves, but I'm 5'4", so most things are long in sleeve. However, never had a chance to wear it until fall. Wore when it when it was just misting out (Not RAINING), I was soaked all the way through just walking around the block (10 minutes at most). Wish I could return and get the real one I am reading about in the reviews. It is the exact color, style and packability jacket I need for travel but it needs to be waterproof. This is not even water resistant.

I love the fit and the gold details on this jacket. It has a draw string at the waist so you can cinch it in to make it more shapely. It runs a little small so I have to exchange for a larger size, but otherwise, I love it.
