    • Nice coat but heavily creased. No hood.

I lucked out this time. This coat falls below my knees and that’s really something I wanted in a raincoat. It doesn’t have a hood nor a winter liner, so I’ll have to dress in layers and wear a rain hat. But it has belt loops that are far superior to the last London Fog raincoat I bought. This has three sets of double loops.. It also has a belt keeper, per se, that buttons to the back of the belt and can be woven through a loop that keeps the bigger belt from slipping out of the loops (and getting stuck in the car door lets say). If buttoned all the way up it looks rather military-ish, however if buttoned so as each side hangs with a decent lapel, it looks better. The creases that are embedded from the original packaging and are rather resistant to coming out. Even with washer and dryer settings set at wrinkle removal. I’m not pleased that I’ll have to pay to have it pressed professionally. If you iron well, it may not be an issue for you. I like London Fog brand, especially their raincoats. This one is very good, yet not the best. I also wanted to mention that the previous one I ordered days before this one I’m now reviewing was considerably shorter but as photographed. Since it was far too large for me, I returned it and ordered this one (same style coat), so the length of this one falling below the knee was a pleasant surprise. ... show more

The Large I received was great quality. Exactly what I was expecting from the brand. However recommendations, sizing guide and reviews led me astray on sizing. I am 5’5” 155 pounds average build, like not curvy, not athletic, and I looked like I was on the shoulders of two other kids trying to sneak into the movies in my Dad’s coat! ... show more

I am very happy with it. Fits nicely, keeps rain out. (I haven't been in a massive down pour yet, but used it for walking in light rain for about an hour). Adds a reasonable amount of warmth in our weather (walking outside in a dress in temps range from 30-50 f. Obviously dressed in clothes that make sense for the season as well. So for such a lightweight fabric, it kept me dry and added enough warmth over my dress for that temp range. I purchased this coat previously in black, so I knew it would be a nice quality coat from London Fog. However, I was disappointed that the Stone one I ordered arrived today and looks like dark camel. Nothing like the image on the site. This yellowy-brown "camel" not a good color on me; nor does it work with the lighter *spring/summer* items I have that I was hoping to coordinate with. Sadly, I think I will have to return it. But, as far as fit and styling, it's a classic style, fits to size, and I get many compliments when I wear the black version, which really is similar, style-wise. A tiny bit tight in my wide-ish shoulders if I also wear a sweater under. *Slight* flair out at the hips--which works for me. Great weather protection. This London Fog raincoat is a perfect fit I bought a small and extra small because I did not know which would fit better . I am 5’4 1/2” and 105 lbs. the extra small fits the best . I can hardly wait to “ break it in “ I like my trench coats to not be stiff I want them to be soft and drape over my clothing to look new but like I have owned it for years . I returned the stone small for an extra small and kept the black extra small . London Fog is the best and they last for ever I have purchased them for gifts 18 times and no one ever returned theirs . It is an iconic brand I never want to be caught in the rain without one of mine . The price is great you pay more in a store . Do not purchase these cheaper coats you see because you will be disappointed by the fabric and the fit . London Fog always has the best fabric not thin or heavy and looks good on everyone it makes a wonderful Christmas present . ... show more
