This is a thin jacket for light rainy days. It is comfortable yet noisy. I'm used to buttoning from a certain side but everything on this jacket is the opposite so it's a bit of a struggle for me. It looks cute on and will keep you dry. Not too much of a layering item if you order your true size. I don't feel it's worth the big price tag but I guess you're paying for the brand

Gorgeous! I am so excited to have this trench coat. It oozes upscale details and styling. I'd say it fits true to size but busty women might want to size up. Check the measurements before ordering. This style is all about a good fit, don't want it too baggy either. What I like: **Nice Fabric & Lining -- The exterior fabric feels like microfiber. It's lightweight but thick enough to drape nicely. No wrinkles. Lined in a silky polyester that adds to it's Lux styling without being too heavy or bulky. **Love the Hardware -- Oh, that large buckle makes such a statement! Smaller buckles on the sleeves and rows of shiny buttons all the way down the front -- wow, a classy fashion statement. **Plenty of Length on Belt -- The belt length is generous, ensuring you can cinch and hang one end, as intended. **Detachable Hood Looks Good -- It lies fairly flat. I was thinking I'd probably take it off but once I got the coat, I was delighted to find that the hood doesn't get in the way of styling. I'll probably keep it on all the time. What Could Be Better: Grommets -- The belt buckle and buckles on the sleeves all have grommet holes to insert the tab into. Each hole is embroidered all the way around however, it doesn't feel like there's a metal or plastic form stitched into the holes. This could cause the belt holes to fray over time. I haven't had the coat long enough to say for sure. The sleeve buckles will rarely, if ever, be unbuckled so the non-reinforced holes don't seem to be an issue. I love this coat and highly recommend it. The style demands proper fit. Too tight and you won't be able to button it all the way down. Too loose and the sleek styling won't be the same. Be sure to take time to measure before you order. I love mine.

Let's be honest, trench coats can be tricky. You either look like you're about to solve a mysterious crime in a noir film, or you look like you forgot to wear pants. The Michael Kors Women's Double Button Trenchcoat, however, manages to land firmly in the "stylish spy" category. This coat is a classic for a reason. The double-breasted design is timeless, and the belted waist gives you that coveted hourglass silhouette (even if your actual silhouette is more "comfortable potato"). The material feels substantial, not flimsy, so you won't feel like you're wearing a glorified raincoat. The detachable hood is a practical touch for those days when the weather can't quite make up its mind. You can go from "sophisticated city dweller" to "prepared for drizzle" in a matter of seconds. Just try not to dramatically pull the hood up over your face unless you're actually being followed by someone. The length is also just right – long enough to provide coverage without making you feel like you're drowning in fabric. And the details, like the buckle straps on the cuffs and the shoulder epaulets, add a touch of military-inspired chic. Honestly, I was expecting another online clothing purchase that would end up hanging in the back of my closet, unworn and judging me silently. Instead, I found a versatile and stylish coat that I'm actually excited to wear. If you're looking for a trench coat that will make you feel confident and put-together, this is it. You might even start looking for opportunities to solve crimes, or at least dramatically brood in a doorway. And really, isn't that what we all want from a trench coat?

What a cute jacket! The material and stitching seem to be great quality and appear like they'll hold up for some time. The sizing is great, at least for us. It keeps you warm but not hot. Great for casual or a little dressier occasions. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it is too!
