Description

The FL75R headlamp is the first rechargeable headlamp in our Fl Series. The light features our flex charge dual power system. The flex charge feature allows for the rechargeable battery pack to be recharged inside or outside of the headlamp. The dual power allows for it to run on our custom rechargeable Lithium battery pack or standard alkaline batteries. The first button on the headlamp gives you the ability to shine an ultra wide flood beam and then quickly twist the Bezel to a long reaching spot beam with transition halo. The second button on the headlamp enables the user to switch quickly to a fixed Red LED light to preserve night vision. It also includes a reflective safety strap for additional safety benefits. With Coast’s commitment to quality, the FL75R headlamp is impact resistant, weather resistant and its LED is virtually unbreakable. The FL75R headlamp is backed by Coast&rsquo. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.

You need free hands when you are in a hurry and the power is out! I have lived through a major earthquake, and have had Coast headlamps since that time over 35 yrs ago. The rechargeable battery is a significant upgrade for emergency situations, and it holds a charge for a long time. The red and green lights are perfect at night when I go out to feed an outdoor cat on a daily basis. The white light beam has 3 settings, with a focus option and long distance beams. The headband is adjustable and comfortable. I have an Olight headlamp, but I find this one easier to wear and more functional with the various lighting options. The media could not be loaded. This headlamp is great. I like that you can twist the lens and make it a direct beam or cover a big area. The headlamp is not heavy at all in my opinion and it is pretty lightweight. Great for backpacking or just camping. The 3 brightness settings are good and very bright. However, if you have it on the brightest setting for multiple hours at a time you can see that it starts to dim up. I like that it comes with a rechargeable battery and an option to use AAA batteries. I just got back from my first trip with it and I went to put AAA batteries in it and one of the slots for a battery was not holding the battery tight in place and when i would close the cover for it the battery would wobble around in it and I couldn’t turn on the light. I believe this is because one of the prongs that holds the battery in got pressed in too much. I’m returning this one hoping that it is a one time defect. I love the headlamp and will just be replacing it for a new one! ... show more

As a mechanic, I use a lot of personal headlamps, and this one from coast is far better than the ones they’ve had in the past. The band is breathable and rubber so you don’t have to worry about nasty cloth that you have to pull apart and wash. It’s easy to wipe off the light is extremely bright in spotlight mode.. regular AA batteries are OK but it dims overtime and makes the light in effective. Rechargeable batteries however, a lot longer provide a constant bright light and don’t begin to until the end of life. ... show more

These coast headlamps are amazing. I’m a contractor that works outside at night on a regular basis. This light in particular is great because it has a focus ring on the light. I own 2 of these coast headlamps because they’re so good. They definitely munch through batteries but that’s to be expected because they’re very very bright. On low you’ll get a handful of hours but on full you’ll get maybe 2 or 3 hours before it’s too dim to use. ... show more

This headlamp is everything the ad says it is. I purchased this to use while cutting my dog's toenails. The beam is very bright and makes this task so much easier. I have not used the night vision yet, but will be taking these when we go camping. I love the blue color of the band. It is easy to put on/take off and not too heavy. Good headlamp - super bright on high. Easily rechargeable. Focused beam is handy. Only downsides are it’s not protected from turning on unintentionally in a pack or pocket, and replacing the battery pack is not super easy. Would still recommend.

I bought this for my father to work on his classic cars. There is never enough light when he is working, and his old headlamp was bulky and heavy. He loves this headlamp! It doesn’t slip, he really likes that he can adjust the focus, and the light is very bright. Much brighter than the last lamp he had. He is surprised because the bulb is smaller than his old one, but it works better. Since I gave it to him, he’s been using it nearly every day.
