I purchased this headlamp to replace two older units (different brand). The light is bright and perfect for walking at night. The rechargeable batteries hold up and it's nice not having to change out or deal with a dimmer light as the batteries age. The headband is comfortable and the lamp is very light. The unit seems to be well built and protected from water damage. Overall, I'd give five stars for the performance, build, and cost of these. ... show more

    • Very good, especially for the price
I've used these quite a bit and haven't had any problems with them. They're plenty bright for hiking at night or working under a sink. The flashing red and green mode is hilarious. They're comfortable and the battery lasts surprisingly long. And they're only ten bucks apiece! I'm sure a $100 Milwaukee head lamp is better, but enough better to justify the price? They adjust well to fit comfortably and I like the different levels of brightness and colors. Also easy to adjust the light down. They are well made. Great deal. Buy these, you will be happy.

    • ALMOST Exactly what I want
To the point: I would like to have a light just like this in every way except with a USB-C charging port since USB-Micro is phasing out. This lights BEST feature; SEPARATE BUTTONS to control Red and White lights. If you are in a position where you need to preserve night vision you don't want to press-press-press to get to the red light. With this one you can. SECOND BEST Feature: Only a few modes and once you find the one you want and leave it like that for a few seconds, one subsequent press turns it off. The only shortcoming then is the rapidly becoming outdated Micro-USB instead of USB-C for charging. I hope they will correct that soon and leave everything else the same. And just so you know what NOT to change, here is what I find wrong with so many other headlights on Amazon. I seems that the Chinese have decided that the more modes the better, even if we never use most of them and having so many makes selecting a mode annoying and confusing. How many people have ever actually used a flashing light mode. But I bet you have had to pass through that stupid flashing mode hundreds of times to turn a flashlight off. I have seen a very very few people on bicycles use it, okay niche market, make a special light for them and give the rest of us the option buy a light without an annoying feature we will never use. They have also somehow decided that everyone want's a motion sensor on their head. Well I for one DON"T. I could live with it if I could simply disable this feature that I will never use in three lifetimes and simply forget about it. However, try as I might to find a compact headlight with both USB-C charging and separate buttons for Red and White I can't seem to find one. They all have room for only two buttons and instead of using one for white and one for red they waste one of them to control the motion sensor that I will NEVER EVER use. ... show more

I waited until I had a few runs in to review it. I’ve had 6 runs, 41 miles total with it. As a test, one of the trail runs I ran 13 miles (2hrs 15) and without charging it, ran 5 miles (45 min) the next day. I brought a back up just in case, but it held charge the entire run! So I know it can shine bright for at least 3 hours. I’ll probably experiment with that more and see just how long the burn time is on it’s low beam setting. The low setting in beam (not flood) is plenty bright enough for night trail running. I’m thoroughly impressed for a $10 usb head lamp. Oh, and it’s half the weight of the expensive torch I lost! One review mentioned the usb port being a pain to access.. no idea what they’re talking about, I had not trouble. Maybe they updated the design. I also love that it has a green light, this will be great for kayaking after dark. Just wish the green light also had a solid mode, only negative I have (the only green option is green & red alternating flash) ... show more

    • Amazing headlamp for the price
I can't believe you get two amazing headlamps for this price. The multiple beam options are great from having a bright beam of light for walking in uncertain terrain and then being able to get a nice wide area light for lighting this inside of a tent without a narrow bean to blind you. I used for 5 consecutive days without having to charge it. No telling how long it might last on a single charge. ... show more
