    • Excellent Value, but too large for backpacking, moto-camping, or adventure riding
I rate on VALUE ... bang for the buck, and this is an excellent value! It would be perfect for a garage mechanic, miner, attic worker, or anyone who must operate in a dark environment. However, for something like backpacking, the headlamp is simply too heavy, large, and much more than is needed. The rechargeable batteries are large and heavy (something between AA and C size batteries). The head light unit has many LED's that are very bright and can be set to a lesser brightness to save batteries. Batteries would PROBABLY last (I have not tested) a very long time using the dim setting with just two of the eight LED's. The head unit adjusts to about 5 (or more) down-looking angles, allowing you to look straight ahead in the distance or angled down to do precision, close-up, work. I can also imagine that the red flashing LED setting could really be a life saver in an emergency situation. I do wonder, a bit, about the environmental impact at the manufacturing facility and transportation for such a device for the money paid (just being real). However, if the larger size and weight of this headlamp is not a problem for you, do not hesitate to pull the trigger and purchase this product. ... show more

    • The brightest head lamp I have ever used
It is bright, easy to adjust the straps and the battery seems to last for quite a wile even on high. I like the headlamp for most applications and use it quite a bit. My only complaint is that I bought this to do some work under my house in a crawl space. Because the battery pack is in the back it is uncomfortable to lay on your back and rest your head on the ground while working. A much better design would be for the batteries to be in the head unit with just a strap in the back. ... show more

Pros: 1. Rechargeable vis USB. 2. LED lamps so very bright & long life. 3. Comfortable elastic straps are adjustable to fit MY head (or yours)! I forgot I was wearing it! 4. A lighting mode for every mood or need. 5. Adjustable angle focuses light where you are looking & working. 6. Great value for price, in my humble opinion. But this is my first ever headlamp. CONS: 1. 10 hours of battery charge goes quickly; charge it before you put it away so it’ll be ready when you are. 2. If 2 people are working together, each of you needs one of these. I can’t read his mind (yet) and point MY light on HIS work! I think the pros won this one! ... show more

    • This headlamp is a shining beast!
Just received my headlamp today. I am surprisingly pleased at how bright this lamp actually is. The listing shows it at 13,000 lumens. In the answers part of this listing people are saying 1300 lumens, which makes a bit more sense. Either way it will blind you in full light mode. The build quality seems to be quite sturdy, although it is a tad bulky it’s not to bad at all. The only slight complaint I have is that I wish the back red safety light was brighter, by no means would this be a deal breaker. In fact I have ordered more.     • Batteries that come with headlamp are fake
I purchased 2 headlamps and came with 4 x 18650 li-ion batteries total. Brightness is good, headlamp is lightweight, but the 18650 "1500mAh" li-ion batteries are not genuine, they are cheap fakes. I tested them 4 times draining the batteries and charging them up full to test the capacity of mAh and they were all over the place, one battery tested under 500mAh all 4 times, one battery tested about 650mAh all 4 times. One battery tested around 700mAh all 4 times, and the last battery tested about 850mAh all 4 times. This is why they are fake, they should be at the very least 1,200mAh to 3,500mAh to be real and they should come with the vented tab on the positive side of the battery. Very disappointed in the false advertising. About the headlamp, I really like the battery compartment with a solid plastic back with latch instead of a rubber back plate like the older/other models. I like the red lights, don't know if they will help with infrared cameras but I will try it out and see if I can see farther at night with it, I'm sure it's not infrared but would be cool if it somehow worked. The price for these are a good deal, though it would be nice if the batteries they come with were real so they could last longer. ... show more

This rechargeable headlamp works great!!! It is super bright and is good for close-up work and for further distances if you are out walking, etc. I use it mainly in my garage when I need a spot light when working on small stuff. I also really like it when working on my car and SUV. It has a few different light configure settings for how much light you need or how little light. I highly recommend it. No batteries to change really helps also. Just plug it in to a USB charger using the supplied cord or use a Micro-USB cable that you already have. ... show more

    • Cables pull out easily
This light is very bright and the battery life is not too bad. The problem is with the cables to the lamp assembly and the cable to the battery pack. They are easily pulled out. I use this light in a shipyard environment and it's not holding up. Now I have to take the light apart and see if the wires can be soldered back to make it work. I have only had this light short of 45 days. ... show more
