Surprisingly good for the price. It has floodlights and focused lights (FYI, can't be used simultaneously), you can tilt the body downward, and the battery life at first use seems pretty good, should last maybe 2-4 dog walks on a single charge, depending on the length of the walk, that's just a total guess because I haven't tried them yet in real world use, I've had one sitting on high on my desk and it's only drained 1 of 4 bars in the 20-30 minutes it's been on. The strap seems pretty standard, stretchy and resizeable. I have a large head and it fits me fine. The body is plastic, which is expected for this price. There's a small foam piece where it contacts your forehead; not grippy but not slippery, and does the job of padding. The function to wave to turn it on/off works well, though you don't want to use this feature when working on something in close quarters, as it will likely turn on/off randomly. It may also do that if you walk by something too close, or turn your head near a light pole or something. That feature can be turned off, so no issues. It also has USB-C charging, instead of micro-usb. A 2-pack of these for 10 bucks... you can't beat that, straight up. I can't say if these are rain proof or water proof, but as a standalone headlamp at this price they are very solid. I'm pretty sure they aren't 1200 lumens, although I have no scientific tests to prove this. I held it up against my Coast headlamp which was advertised 650 lumens, and the focused beam on high was slightly brighter than the Coast.... just slightly. The floodlights do not compare to the Coast headlamp whatsoever, the brightness dies off a lot with distance, and not even much distance. I can barely tell the floodlight is on when shining it on my bookcase across the room but I can easily tell that my Coast headlamp is on at this distance. All of this is testing with guesses in mediocre apartment lighting during the day. I also own two Coast brand headlamps which are obviously better in quality, but these do probably like 75% of the job for way cheaper.

Based on all the negative reviews, I thought I would need to return these head lamps once they came in. However, I've had none of the issues others talk about. 1. Battery Life. I've used these daily for a week now with no battery issues. On highest intensity, they lasted me two hours before they dimmed. I would say that is good. 2. Charging issues. The only thing you must do, is use the cables provided. They are different than standard cables in someway. I've charged, recharged daily for a week with no issues. The blue lights tell you how much power is left, and flash as it charges. This was no issue and worked well. 3. You have to click through all the settings to get to the one you want. Not really. If you always or mostly use setting 3, just go to 3 and remember to turn off the light by holding the button in. Next time it will turn on, at that remembered setting. Not in the instructions however. 4. Had wave gestures are intermittent. I found that it is easy to wave my hand to turn or off the light. Though I didn't find a practical use for it yet. Given the competitive pricing, I am pleased with my purchase.

Good value and overall good light but could easily be improved to really get to the next level. The battery doesn’t seem to last overly long and I’d say you can count on 30 minutes of use on high. I don’t like the motion activated on/off because if something moves in front of you itll turn the light off. Like if you open a door and the door swings by your face. I disable the motion sensor. This light has a bunch of settings, hi low medium red and red strobe. So when being turned on/off you gotta click through all the settings which is so annoying. To make this a 5 star light would be easy. Scrap the motion sensor junk. Then use both buttons to have one button on/off and one button that tabs you through the modes. Then you could keep it on the mode you want easily. I’d give a pass for short battery life then because of the low price point. Overall I think it’s a good value and I’m happy but just a little different user interface would make me love it.
