What a great product! I bought these to take on a camping trip & am SO glad I did! They're so much better than a regular headlamp since #1 You don't have that heavy, uncomfortable light on your forehead. # The light goes all the way from temple to temple so your range of light is much larger. #3 There no heavy batteries that need replacing because it's charged with a C phone charger #4 There are 4 different light settings, & a smaller built in reading style light on one side for when you need to focus on something up close. #5 You can use it in sensor mode, where all you've got to do is wave your hand by the side of your head to turn on & off or to switch light modes. #5 It can literally fit in your pocket. This amazing headlamp is perfect for wh when you need light, but don't want to have to hold a flashlight, or need both hands. It's very lightweight & comfortable to wear; unlike the standard headlamp, & the range of lighted vision is spectacular. This is an amazingly bright light, & when fully charged (which only takes about 10 minutes), provides around a full hour to hour & a half of light. And once charged, it can hold the charged for months! I charged mine after camping around 9 months ago, & when I granted it today out of my glove box, it was still fully charged! I keep one in my truck, & one in the house for emergencies or when I dont want to hold a flashlight. I can't say enough good things about this light. Money well spent. Just buy it. This light has many great features all in one package. My rolling toolbox at home is littered with all sorts of headlamps. This is definitely my favorite. It is as bright or close to any of the others that I have used. In the past, I have found that the rechargeable ones were not as bright. This is an exception. Some of my days, I have on a hard hat. Some days, I am working in poorly lit areas. Sometimes, I am replacing batteries every week. It gets annoying, expensive and not environmentally sound. So, with the variety of things that I do, this is lightweight, easy to throw on and easy to charge. The best thing for me is the motion sensor. When I am working, its inconvenient for me to keep turning the light on and off all day. So, my previous lights may be left on many times when I don't need it on. With the motion sensor, I just wave my hand or move my head by an object, and it goes on or off. I know this saves me battery time, work time, and increases the lifespan of the light. Its bright, lightweight, and versatile. I bought the whole crew one of these lights for each of them at Christmas and they all love them. Since that was only 1 month ago, I cannot speak to the longevity of the light. I can use it all day without recharging. ... show more

I purchased this as a suggestion from a video that explained how this can improve your ability to see where you are going while welding. It arrived this morning and I was very anxious to test it. The battery has come charge and comes with a USB adapter for recharging. It has been on charge for over 30 minutes and the red indicator is still on so I do not know how long a full charge takes until after depleting the battery. I see no need for a motion detector but it works well. Both the front COB strip and the beam have 2 levels of brightness and my only complaint so far is that both cannot be turned on at the same time for increased light. The Beam light can be focused by adjusting the headband on your head. Since I will be using this on a helmet, I think it will work similarly. I just hope it will last for at least an hour and in that time I will try out the motion sensor to determine if it is useful for my application. I am very impressed with how bright it is and it should enable me to follow the seam that needs welding much easier. An auxiliary light carried under the vehicle is not always able to shine where needed and this shines where your are looking. I may try to use Velcor or just Gorilla Glue to attach it to my helmet and not have to mess with it moving or coming loose. I gave it a 4 because I have not fully tested it. I love these. It is always dark when I take my dog out for his last walk of the night. The light strip make walking safer by lighting the path well and being visible to drivers. It's comfortable... The strip light is so natural I often forget I have it turned on. I purchased the two-pack of these headlamps. Overall, these are very solid headlamps. They are comfortable to wear and when fully charged last long enough. The wide beam is perfect for coverage without having to point my head directionally. However, when they are not fully charged, they lose battery life very quickly and can lead to a dull beam mid-project if you did not charge them after use the prior day. The motion sensor works well in open environments and very sensitive to your hand wave (although sometimes overly sensitive if working in tight spots may be triggered by a wall or nearby object). The primary reason for my lower review (otherwise would have been higher) is the fact that not even a month into use and not very intensive use, one of the headlamps already has a dead spot on the COB LED wide band. I tried to reach out to the store for warranty, and only got sent to Amazon support where they wanted me to send BOTH back for a refund. I tried to contact the store directly to settle this but could not locate any contact information. If the seller is able to reach out to resolve this concern, I certainly would adjust my rating accordingly. ... show more

Blazingly bright headlamp. I had no idea a strip of plastic could put out so much light. After 8 months of use the battery life is starting to become noticeably shorter, but is still really useful if working outdoors an hour or two before dawn. The wave-to-turn-on-and-off feature is convenient. The side spotlight is fairly useless - dimmer and a narrower beam than the COB strip. The biggest annoyance really is that the charging system isn't fully USB-C compatible. The socket is a USB-C socket, but the battery will only charge if you use a USB-A-to-USB-C cable. It will not accept a charge from a cable that is USB-C on both ends. It's not allowing itself to get fried at least, but it was quite frustrating to stumble across that limitation unprepared. Even so, the sheer brightness of the lamp gets it 5 stars from me. ... show more

These lights are awesome. Very strong lighting, love the different settings and colors. I used it for early morning runs, late runs, and when I do deliveries for Amazon. Love that you can re-charge. I own about 8 of these lol. They are really good. Only thing is it is quite tight on the head you can re-adjust but does leave marks.
