This light has many great features all in one package. My rolling toolbox at home is littered with all sorts of headlamps. This is definitely my favorite. It is as bright or close to any of the others that I have used. In the past, I have found that the rechargeable ones were not as bright. This is an exception. Some of my days, I have on a hard hat. Some days, I am working in poorly lit areas. Sometimes, I am replacing batteries every week. It gets annoying, expensive and not environmentally sound. So, with the variety of things that I do, this is lightweight, easy to throw on and easy to charge. The best thing for me is the motion sensor. When I am working, its inconvenient for me to keep turning the light on and off all day. So, my previous lights may be left on many times when I don't need it on. With the motion sensor, I just wave my hand or move my head by an object, and it goes on or off. I know this saves me battery time, work time, and increases the lifespan of the light. Its bright, lightweight, and versatile. I bought the whole crew one of these lights for each of them at Christmas and they all love them. For the price this is a super great find. VERY bright lights, different modes for spot and flood. Mainly used for dog walking but will work great in tight spaces for auto use (which is what else I'll be using it for). For sub $15 these are a great find. These are really great, But They fall apart pretty easily. And they only hold a charge for a couple hours. I do love that there are light weight and bright and u s b rechargeable. But i've had several come apart on me. If they're disposable after ten uses they should not cost as much.

My family loves this light. My wife uses it to take the dog out at nights which keeps her hands free. The motion detection sensor in my mind can be a nuisance. The reason being if you walk past something to close sometimes it triggers the light on or off so I typically don't use this feature.

So I've tried a few brands like surefire and this is byfsr my favorite its light and comfortable to it dosnt move around alot and you barely notice its there. It also dosnt get hot like alot of other ones seem too. Best of all it has a wode field of view pretty much fills your entire field of view. Only thing i could say negative is the silicone band while comfortable does make you sweat a bit where it touches. But still if your using it your probably sweating already. Besides oncw again other bigger brand ssewm to get hot so its not that bad. Also i thought when I first wore it that it was getting dimmer as I looked up bit it was my noses shadow so dont be silly like me and think that.     • Convenient but not well crafted

So I've had this item for a few weeks and all-in-all it's not that bad. I appreciate that the power source is rechargeable, which saves on cost of replacing batteries. The amount of light you get is decent for what it's worth... It serves its purpose. However, the one flaw I discovered recently about the design and craftsmanship of this product is that the LED band strip has separated from the foam strap that wraps around your head. Noticing that the manufacturer used some type of glue to adhere things together was probably not the best solution as with anyone using the product over extended periods of time; heat and sweat from one's brow will soften the glue and cause it to lose its hold. So now I have to fix the LED strip back in place before using the lamp. Overall, the product fails to reach a solid perfect grade with me. Moreso, I feel unenthusiastic about DIY fixing this problem by adding new glue... Nobody should have to fix a company's initial flaws after the fact. ... show more
