Bormioli Rocco 18oz Red Wine Glasses, set of 4 I've used Bormioli Rocco stemware in the past, and it's comfortable to hold, reasonably durable (for glass), and an excellent price point. That's not precisely what was sent. The stemware I received, carefully packaged and in excellent condition, was exactly the same size and profile as previous orders, although it lacked the Bormioli imprint. What it also lacked was 4 glasses - only 3 were sent in a box which, while it bore the Bormioli logo and the notation 'Box of 4,' suspiciously had room for only three. I saw the problems mentioned here in other reviews and decided to try ordering this set anyway - at worst I lose some time. When negotiating the return I wasn't willing to chance that I'd be sent another 3 glasses, so I've opted to shop elsewhere, Had I been ordering it as a gift, instead of for personal use, it would have been quite a disappointment, however it's a good reason to make the trek to a brick-and-mortar store. ... show more

The shape is nice and the stem is long enough to keep one from warming the wine with one's hand. HOWEVER, they're too tall to go into the upper rack of my dishwasher, which means I'll use them less than I wanted to. (I bought these for everyday wine glasses, and can't use them that way if I can't put them in the dishwasher.) One of them has a distinctly sharp edge where the stem meets the base... sharp enough to cut. Haven't checked the others yet. I hope this is a one-off. UPDATE: Only one of the glasses was defective, and I received email from the seller within a few hours of posting this review with an offer to replace the defective glass. These are packed in cardboard and shipped in a thick cocoon of bubble-wrap, so packing them for return won't be easy. ANOTHER UPDATE: Although these are useless to me, Amazon wants to charge me six bucks to return them. No. I'll give them to the Salvation Army, buy everyday wine glasses at Walmart where I can see what I'm getting, and be much more careful with my Amazon purchases in the future. ... show more
