Both spot and flood lights have brighter and dimmer modes. Very versatile. Only issue I've found is charging cable. Do not lose the charging cable. It doesn't seem to charge on certain higher power cables. Only the included cable or maybe other similar short or low capacity cables. It's Type C cable, but for example it won't charge on my long high speed type C cable. It does the job perfectly, provides bright light, is comfortable (if a bit geeky), and once you figure out the controls it’s very easy to use. It has also proven useful when working on projects and repairs around the house and yard that require light AND 2 hands. We’ve only had 1 brief power outage since purchasing this, but this light was very useful - a huge improvement over carrying a heavy flashlight in one hand and juggling several objects n the other. These seem super bright and work really well and the best part is they're rechargeable USBC like everything else! Definitely great for tight corners and it adjusts up and down very easily. Quite nice. Very good battery life so far. Easy to use. I like the options of concentrated beams or lower power wide spread. The only downside is that it is a little bulkier than I had thought it would be, since it is all contained in the one unit. That is not totally a negative though. My last headlamp had the battery/power switch etc in back and lamp in front which was nice... until the connection between the two loosened and broke and the front end was unusable. ... show more
