Over the years I have found that it takes extra effort and time to contact the manufacturer and find-out and record the expiration date of emergency products. Great for Halloween! I bought in October 2024 to give to trick-or-treaters and they were a big hit! The light was nice and bright, lasts well into the next day and I love how they come with the black cords so all you have to do is double knot the ends. Other brands I purchased didn’t include cords so it was a nice surprise. My stash lasted through Halloween 2025 and the quality did not degrade. These work very well. High visibility in daylight and that much better in darkness. They maintain good luminosity for 15+ hours. Good construction with no leaking. Mine arrived with 18 months of shelf life remaining. Pleased with this product.

I got these glowsticks to have as "Light Up Nametags" with my friends while hiking the Ape Caves (a cave system in southern Washington.) Since we were in a group of 5, we each were given our own color to use. We all opened our glowsticks at the same time, cracked them at the same time, and this gave us a unique opportunity to test each glowstick. This is what we found: Green is the brightest color. By far. I could tell exactly where my friend was at all times. Blue and Red are tied for second place. They're very vibrant and bright, but they don't provide much light. For our intended use, they worked great. But, don't go thinking that they will light a path for you. Yellow comes in at third. Not impressed, but not the worst. White is last place. My boyfriend wore this color, and oh my goodness I kept looking for him when he was right next to me. Trust me when I say the white color is WEAK. It looked like someone was shining a flashlight into a gallon jug of milk. Now, with that being said, these suckers last a LONG time. We hiked the entire cave system and were back to our car in about 3 hours. But, even after the hour drive home and getting dinner, they were STILL glowing bright 6 hours after we cracked them. All in all, I'm happy with what I received for the cost I paid. In the future, I might see about ordering all green ones or all blue (if they come up with that option). If you're looking for some great glowsticks, then look no further. Even with my qualms about them they are still the best glowsticks I have used. ... show more

No need to detail all the ways glowsticks can be used -- these simply work well. Each stick is individually wrapped which makes it feel "nice" in a bugout bag, emergency supply, or as an informal gift. However, that also means it impossible to tell if a stick is dead (accidental activation). They’re impressively bright, and their lifespan is seems to be as advertised. ... show more

Bought these for Flordia hurricane supplies. I've had to use a few of them now and they do a great job. One has enough glow to light up a medium size room for you to do basic things and navigate in pitch black. They are also great for bathrooms. The emit glow for a lot longer then advertised but at a dim level. It was still enough for get around after 2 days. Good value for what your getting. We have flashlights but only wanted to use them when we needed and not have them on all night long. Update I have since bought a lot more for myself, friends, and family. ... show more
