I’m finally able to get my rabbit outside now that the weather is warming up. I let him go out only for playtime. However, I do believe the hut is secure enough that it would be fine for animals who stay out 24/7. It can also provide quick shelter for feral cats. The materials are well-made and provide a safe cozy space. I have another fence that goes around the hutch so the hutch is located within the fenced area for extra protection. Overall, this smaller hutch is appropriate for smaller animals. It’s actually attractive and it could be used indoors as well. I have a more open space for my bunny indoors, but this would absolutely work in an indoor space. It has held up in the elements. Right now we are mainly dealing with cool temperatures and rain. The hutch does stay dry. Inside I do have bedding. So I would be able to immediately tell if any water was getting inside the hutch. ... show more

This was super easy to put together using only a Phillips head screwdriver. It's super cute. We got it for our guinea pigs to hide out. We stuff it with hay and they hang out inside. They could also be locked up in at night if needed.
