This works out great so far. I have 2 large dogs that mostly needed a visual barrier. The Husky tried to push against it at first, and it did move until I repositioned the gate. For those with large dogs, be sure to a gate that is larger than the space you need to block. For instance, I only needed 72" gate to cover the are, but luckily I picked this one. This has to be zig zagged, or it won't stay up, or withstand nudging from dogs. Also, I was able to put the end sections of the gate flat against the wall. It allows the gate to be extra sturdy without the dog pushing it open easily. There are two latches on the gate instead of just one; one at the top and one at the bottom. I didn't realize it would be 2 when I bought it, but it works better to keep the dogs from pushing against the bottom of the gate and potentially breaking it. The espresso color is beautiful, and the gate itself is sturdy enough so far.

Arrived broken *Edit I received a USED product, someone used a marker to cover up the scratches and dings. I was under the impression I was buying NEW, for that price with a beat up product, unacceptable. I didn't see all the black marker spots until I attempted to fix the broken/snapped gate instead of returning for a replacement. I don't normally write reviews but I am so disappointed I don't want someone else to suffer the same frustration. I do not recommend wasting your money.

DO NOT BE MISLED BY REVIEWS THAT SAY THIS IS EASY TO TRANSPORT. IT ISN'T. I dare say this is nice. It just arrived, and it is so heavy that I can't even tip it up to set it up. I barely got it out of the box. I'm going to have to hire someone younger and stronger to set it up at all. The way my house is configured, I need something that will keep my two Doxies from running to the door so I have one hand free to accept deliveries, and I need it to be free-standing. I thought this would work because I believed reviews that said it was easy to transport. IT IS NOT. IT IS HEAVY.

After contacting the seller they sent me a new gate because mine had arrived broken. The new gate is great! It is very sturdy, nice looking gate and works perfectly. We are using it with the legs as free standing and have had no issues with it falling over. It has kept our dogs out of the living room while we are gone during the day. I do recommend this gate for big entry ways or just as an enclosure pen Original:Arrived broken! The door is completely broken and there are scratches and scuffs all over it

Very pleased with this item. I made sure to get the 6-panel to easily have enough panels to make a zig zag (part of how such a thing stands up). The gate is really nice, and is the main reason for choosing this model. The item is fairly heavy, which is what you want when you are looking to block an active animal (or even perhaps a kid). The two "feet" add just the right amount of stability to the panels. I can build things (furniture, fences, etc.) but I just wanted a nice looking item, with a gate, that looked good and did the job literally out of the box. Great! And no going in my garage to build anything. Its really nice to know that it can be folded up and out of the way when not needed. Pretty much would go with any decor.

I purchased 2 large & 1 small and linked them together by removing sections/screws. The only issue that I have is that on one set it was missing the latches so I only installed the top latches and that weakens it a bit. But customer service was great and sent me a replacement gate to remove latches from & Install. All it took was a phone call. My puppy is houdini and has to be protected from my computer wires, etc. Think I'm going to add another set to my office so he can "visit me during the day while I am working but be safe. They are not that obnoxious gray plastic and work well on carpet with the support "feet" installed. It helped to give my puppy happier with a larger area to roam until we can get him past the "chewy" stage and do a bit more "baby proofing" since we've not had small children in a long time. Portable too - brought the small one to the hotel folded up for a family funeral trip - worked great & easy to do. Well worth the investment,

Works exactly as expected, great for our puppy and seems to been something she can grow into meaning as she gets bigger it would keep her contained. We are currently using this as a play pen for our puppy but is big enough to block off our sunroom entrance if needed, the door is VERY handy when being used as a gate keeps you from constantly stepping over it Comes fully assembled except for the latches for the door (took 3 minutes to screw them in) easy to set up and collapse, would be a great item to take when vacationing with your dog
