Perfect fit on my 2016 F-150 sport 2.7 l EcoBoost. Only need a couple hand tools to get this job done. Set up was easy few nuts and bolts at the tighten up. In the install was quick and easy. Whole process took about 40 minutes. Few minutes of that was trying to get off the overspray on the bolts on the underside of the truck from when they painted the truck. The paint is hard and thick so you might need a steel brush on a drill if you can't get it to chip off. Most of the bolts didn't have anything but Just heads up in case yours do too. Inflation process went easy because the mounting brackets matched up perfectly with a bolt pattern underneath the truck. Just had to put the mounting plates onto the bolt pattern and put the nut on and tighten down. Repeat that process for each mounting plate and you are done. Really changes the look of the whole truck with these on there. My kids and wife are definitely happy with them they can get in and out of the truck with ease now. The design is perfect and quality and material is impressive. These are made to last. Easy to clean off. Excellent value for the money. All the hardware and everything you need is included except the hand tools. ... show more

The running boards installed easily on my truck with basic tools, I do recommend having a specialized drill or having a car guy do this for you. They provide a wide step for easy entry and exit, which was necessary for the short people I'm driving around constantly. The single tube design looks rugged against the body, but I really would've preferred something thicker for those slippery, rainy, muddy days. In bad conditions, these actually make it a little more dangerous to get in and out of the truck, so I have to ding the score a little bit for that. If you're a SoCal mom just bringing kids around to soccer games or the beach, this will probably be fine for you. If you have a work truck in Montana in the winter, maybe look for another option. I will say that the material resists rust really well in wet weather. They handle a lot of weight without bending, I climbed in my cab carrying about 150 pounds of brick and tile without even thinking about it, and I'm over 250, so that's great. I recommend wearing workboots when climbing on it, something with a lot of tread, just to be careful. ... show more
