I like how many steak knives are included for guests or not wanting to wash knives every day. I appreciate that I can decide where I want each knife to go and that there are no specified spots - just some holes that are longer or shorter for the larger knives or paring knives. I had bought an Insignia Chicago Cutlery some time ago. The Chicago Cutlery stamp on each knife was not the same as on the knives I had. The weight of reach knife was different and the handle material on each knife was different. I think the knives I bought may be a clone but the price I paid for them made the knives a keeper. ... show more

Very sharp. Great purchase, under $100. Metal blades are a bit thinner than I'm used to so I anticipate they will not hold their edge as long as thicker blades but there is a built in sharpener to compensate.

Iโ€™m not sure if the issues we have with our set, although minor, are a reflection on the manufacturer or the seller. Some of the knives have rust marks on them. And while the package was sealed and appeared new, the entire set was filthy, especially the wooden storage block. So either Chicago Cutlery ships these this way or the seller isnโ€™t keeping these stored properly before they ship. ... show more
