The PowerStep XL deploys up to 3 inches lower than the standard PowerStep, making entry and exit dramatically easier on lifted and leveled builds where a standard step height falls short.Constructed from corrosion- resistant aluminum with a powder coat finish and stainless steel hardware, these electric running boards are built to handle daily abuse without degrading. Each board supports up to 300 lbs. per door.The PowerStep XL extends automatically when your door opens and retracts flush under the vehicle the moment it closes—keeping your truck's body lines clean and ground clearance intact while driving. The 6-inch-wide step surface is slip-resistant and features integrated LED lighting for confident footing in low-light conditions.AMP Research's patented plug-n-play wiring connects directly to your vehicle with no complicated wiring or magnet alignment issues. Newer applications use an OBD II module for a factory-style install. An optional override switch allows manual control when needed.Professional installation is recommended.
