I was using some Home Depot, Velcro straps before these arrived to cimch down my boot shafts for use with skinnier jeans. They actually worked decently, but I had to use 2 per leg. I use them to keep my pants legs in place when I have hunting and fishing waders on. They are just too tight and I have skinny legs. I compared them to a couple of other pairs and they were 1.5 to 2 ins shorter I thought they would stretch out a bit but was wrong about that. That's a real good quality if they fit you right from the start. I'm giving them four stars because of that and because everyone's legs are different. Wisdompro Ankle Straps are good for walking. My pants are loose at the ankle, so I wrap these around my ankles, when I take walks. They attach with their own velcro. They are convenient, so I don't have to change my pants to walk.

The quality of these boot straps is pretty good, but the diameter is very small. I have thin ankles, and these just barely fit around the narrowest part. They're alright to cinch the bottom of my too-long coveralls, which I wear around the house, but if I were to use them with boots, they would not work.
