I installed these SMANOW drop down running boards on my 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab and I am extremely impressed. The fitment is excellent with no issues at all. Everything lined up perfectly and the installation was straightforward. I really love the look. The textured black finish looks great against the truck and feels solid and well made. There were no scratches or defects out of the box, and shipping was faster than expected. They arrived earlier than the posted delivery date. The dealership quoted me $1,119 for the OEM Predator side steps, and these are a perfect alternative at a much better price. Honestly, I do not feel like I gave anything up going with these instead. One note on installation: I had my son helping me, which made the job much easier. It can be done solo, but you would want to pre stage all hardware and take your time when aligning and tightening everything. Overall, excellent quality, great fitment, and a fantastic value. These drop down running boards fit my Wrangler JL perfectly and make getting in and out much easier. The textured black finish looks tough and matches the Jeep’s style well. Love em'. Nothing wrong with my old one's or the 'flip down and back' steps for the driver and front passenger, but since our grandson is living here with us and sits in the back, I certainly wasn't going to spend over $300.00 for two 'flip down and back' steps for the rear. Bought these on a Black Friday deal and it took about 2.5 hours to do the job. About 2 hrs for taking off the old boards and putting the new ones on. The .5 hrs was trying to figure out which bolts to use. Looking at the new boards it was pretty easy, however, there is a crap ton of other bolts and washers that have no place to go. I used due diligence and inspected to make sure I wasn't missing something, but nope... Those other ones have no purpose. Anyway, nice boards and I have to admit, my 62 yoa a$$ does like the longer footing. Good steel, super rigid and nice welds. Paint job appears good, but, it's now on Jeep JKU, so eventually it'll get messed up. ... show more
