My hair color tends to stay in pretty well beyond the roots so I found this product to work better for my touch ups instead of recoloring all of it even though it's around the same cost. I like the brush that comes with it, but I struggle with good coverage on my blonde/gray roots along the hairline on the sides of my head. Love that it doesn't smell like anything, and doesn't burn my scalp. My crown has thinned greatly since my mid 30's (now 50) so I get pretty bad stains on my scalp that are very visible, but I either wear a hair topper or spray color in that area anyway to hide my "baldness" It's pretty easy to prevent messes with this formula, but if you get any on the bathroom counter or floor, it comes right out with a warm wet paper towel if wiped up quickly ... show more
