This 3 step system is very easy to use and does not require professional assistance to apply it. You just mix steps 1 and 2 together, Shake well then apply it all over your hair from root to end or apply to targeted area. Wait 30 minutes then Rinse and apply step 3. There was nothing confusing about how to use it. It doesn’t leave your hair dry and crunchy either. My hair turned out soft and the dye surprisingly did not stain my skin. It rinses off very easily. Ok so I did this totally backwards from what it said. I have some gray that I wanted to cover up so did my roots first...then read in the instructions to start 1/2 inch away from scalp, out through ends. Allow color to process for 10 -15 minutes. Next apply to scalp.....ok I will get another box and start again..smh. The color is so cute. I will come back and update my review once I have followed the instructions properly..lol ... show more

I ordered cognac. I love the color but I find that it bleeds. I don't know if it's human error on my part. I rinsed my hair for 30 minutes and the water ran clear but while I was twisting my hair wet the color was running. This won't stop me from purchasing again because I love the color.
