If you're after blond but not yellow orange brassiness, this is great. I have lighter dishwater blond and increasing gray. It lightens a lot and with cooler ashy tones without as much brassy gold. It took MANY tries of all brands and shades over many years but I'm sticking with this. It's close enough to the highlight color I used to get at a salon without spending $200. That's a win for me! I just hope they don't stop making it, I'm waiting for that to happen...better stock up. ... show more

My hair is frazzled from getting blonde highlites so I wanted to try something new for fall/winter. I like this color it’s pretty dark, esp for having really light hair before (my hair was a dark blonde light brown before I used this) still came out pretty dark. This is the “guava/magenta”. This is the first time I really loved how a color came out with box dye. I bought the chocolate color. The dye looks orange when you're putting it on but it comes out a deep brown with a hint of amber. I'm in love with it! This is my new go to color.
