    • Beautiful Cookware
My husband and I have gone through so many sets of cookware, only to be disappointed in their longevity. We generally adhere to the manufacturers recommendations for cooking and cleaning, but time after time, they just do not hold up. So once again, we were on the hunt to a new set. I searched through Amazon's selection, and found the Circulon. I had never heard of this particular style, so I went and researched it. It turns out that it seemingly had really good reviews, with some indicating that they had had more than one set over the years. That speaks volumes to me; however, I wasn't yet convinced. I decided to go to the Circulon website. I poured through every detail and description, from how it's made to the different styles. It all sounded great, but I was still a bit reticent. I decided to add it to my cart and think about it some more. I waited a while. It also cost quite a bit more than the other sets we have had, so I didn't want to jump right in and be disappointed again. So they sat and sat in the cart. I kept seeing them. Then one day a while later, I opened up the item and description again, browsed through it, and the reviews. Refreshed my memory again about the brand. I decided it was time. The set we were using at the time was not in the best, optimal condition. My husband agreed. I ordered the Circulon. To say I was nervous, but excited was an understatement. We did not want to be disappointed. The cookware arrives. No outer box dents. The outer box was very sturdy. Upon opening the box, I notice that the cookware was well-packed. I removed all the items. It looked beautiful. The color is gorgeous. The cookware is not light weight, but not heavy. They are well made. I was excited to get started. Read all directions first. Hand washed them. Does say they can be used in the dishwasher. We have tried that with one or two of the saucepans a couple of times, but are a little afraid that over time, that might not be the best option. Nothing happened. They came out great. Our personal preference though, will be to handwash. We have now had the cookware about a month. They heat up very well. Instructions said to only set the temperature low to medium for cooking. Never on high unless boiling water. I still don't use high for that either. They recommend to not use any cooking spray. We don't. You don't need it. Everything that we have cooked has turned out well. We have used them just about everyday since receiving them. Cleanup is super easy. We have not tried them in the oven as of yet. Because I cannot speak to how this cookware will do long-term just yet, I will say that so far I am very impressed with them. It is a beautiful set. It is beautiful and the sizes are perfect for a family of 6! I spent a lot of time searching for a set that had the large 5qt saute/fry pan, 3qt sauce pot, and a 12in flared skillet because we need big pans for all the man-sized appetites in our home! They heat up well at medium heat and I clean them with paper towels and dawn because, with hot water anything, even mac and cheese that sat for 2 hours came right off with the sprayer hose! I got this set when we replaced our cooktop with an induction one. It is a nice size set with plenty of different pots and pans. I've had circulon before and love it. I'm not in love with the color, but all things considered, I can live with it. The box was pretty banged up with it was delivered, but the cookware was packed very well and everything was in excellent condition. I would definitely purchase this set again. In fact, I did (LOL). Very impressed with this set. I did a TON of research and read a ton of reviews before purchasing and decided on this particular set from Circulon. I purchased a hard anodized set from Sam’s (Members Mark brand) around Christmas that claimed to be dishwasher safe, however after just a a few months of use the outside coating was trashed and left black residue in your hands if touched or on your sponge if you happened to hand wash it. I wanted PFOA free cookware but I NEEDED dishwasher safe. I cook a lot and don’t have time to hand wash everything, every single time. This set is very sturdy and feels quality just when handling. So far, they have come out of the dishwasher beautifully and based on the outside material, I won’t have the same issues I did with my last set. They heat and cook well (I have a gas cooktop) and I love the variety of sizes. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • The cookware is of high end restaurant quality.
Although the display highlighted every pot and pan, it was overwhelming unpacking it all. There are just too many items unless one is a professional cook or routinely cooks for a large crowd. Heat distribution throughout the pots and pans is excellent, the design of the handles makes it easy to maneuver without getting burned, The food slides out of the pan. It was well packed-in 1 large box ! (I checked- it was all there too !) I read instructions & material- just to make sure- before use- then washed, let dry- & took the largest pot- added water & heated on my induction burner . A bit lighter color than expected but it’s beautiful...a light bronzey-silver which looks good in any color kitchen. I had an old Circulon set for many years which was still in very good shape until I recently decided to put them through the dishwasher which affected the finish. I expect these to be just as durable. SO GLAD we got these. They stack MUCH better than the old ones so they fit much better in my cabinet. I had asked about whether there were lids which fit all the fry pans before buying these. The answers from an array of owners were covered the spectrum from not fitting any of the fry pans to fitting them all! The truth is that there are lids to fit the 10” and 12” fry pans but not the small 8.5” fry pan. I still had a lid for my previous set’s 4qt double-handled pot. I kept both that pot and it’s lid to finish this set since we use them both, especially when making one grilled cheese sandwich or eggs for one person in the 8.5 fry pan. The 4 quart pot is a very handy size as a small batch sauce/stockpot that unfortunately was not in this set- the 1 quart pour pot that is in the set is pretty useless and should be replaced with the 4quart double handled stockpot and lid. I have put the 1 quart away for the unlikely instance when I need it. ... show more
