Now in my 30s I can finally feel like an adult as I own a set of matching pots and pans rather than a cobbled together collection of hand me downs, cheap finds, and gifts! I jumped at the price of these after reading the reviews and am glad I did. Out of the box I immediately liked them. They are exactly as pictured. The materials seem nice. Don’t expect premium materials here but instead a middle of the road, easy to clean product. If you are just a casual cook in your home kitchen, these will work great. However, if you’re cooking a lot, or your pots and pans take a lot of abuse, maybe find a set that is a little more substantial. What I like most is that they are all lightweight. Not in a cheap, flimsy way, but in an intentionally designed way. I hate lifting heavy pots made heavier by food or boiling water! No more worrying I’ll scald myself by dropping a weighty pot. These would be a great gift for a young person striking it out on their own or a purchase by someone who prefers take out over cooking, but is really trying to cook more (yes, I’m talking about myself here) ... show more

Holy cow, these are amazing. We’ve owned Calphalon before and those don’t compare to the quality of these. The nonstick is superb. They’re incredibly lightweight and beautiful. I surprised my wife with them and earned hefty brownie points. We’ve had them for about a month now and she uses them almost every night. They are durable and withstand the heat well. I handwash them, just in case. The set comes with a variety of sizes that was very surprising. I purchased these pots and pans as a Christmas gift for my wife, who is the primary cook in our household. Initially, we were impressed with their aesthetic appeal and the comfortable feel they offer. These cookware items are notably lighter than our older Calphalon set, making them easier to handle. It's worth mentioning that while the handles have a wood-like appearance, they are not made of wood and will burn your hand if you touch them while hot. In terms of performance, during our limited usage, they have demonstrated even cooking, which is a significant plus. Furthermore, following the manufacturer's recommendation to allow them to cool down before cleaning, we found them exceptionally easy to clean. However, the main issue we encountered relates to the handles. Although they have an attractive design, we experienced a durability concern. During the very first use, while boiling eggs on medium heat, a portion of the handle unexpectedly broke off with a loud pop. We were surprised to find a piece of the handle on our griddle cover. I've attached pictures taken immediately after this incident, including one of the underside of the handle. In summary, we are quite fond of these pots and pans with the exception of their durability. Given this issue, we are considering returning them and exploring alternative options. We are also looking into the possibility of getting a replacement pot to prevent any safety concerns related to the handle. It's worth noting that our experience may be an isolated incident, as we haven't come across similar reports in the few Amazon reviews we've read. I'll update this review to share the resolution once it's reached. UPDATE 01/11/2024: After posting my above update, I planned to reach out to Carote. I was not able to do so that day and when I was about to do so two days later, I noticed I had already received an email from Carote Brands via my Amazon account. By reaching out to me, they saved me additional time of having to reach out to them. They resolved the issue in a way which leaves me completely satisfied and will to try their products going forward. As for our pans, they have been working really well. I am still continually surprised at how light weight they are based on how the look. The non-stick feature has been very good as well. Even when letting melted cheese dry in the pot, I soak it in water for about ten minutes and then everything wipes out with a sponge. I haven't had any issues with cooking food or cleaning the dishes. Due to the warning in the packaging and the warnings in the instructions, we keep a cloth between the pans/pots that we are stacking to protect the material. I have updated my 2-star review to 4 stars to reflect their excellent customer service and the quality of the product, with the exception of my first review. I will update this in the future if I can remember or if someone reaches out. ... show more

    • What a great set of pots and pans
I was a bit hesitant about these pots and pans at first. I actually left them in the cabinet for quite a while. When my nonstick pan needed to be replaced I took out the frying pan and started using it. It didn’t feel slick in the bottom like the darker nonstick pans do.l, so I was a bit hesitant that everything would stick . I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loves this cookware. They clean up easily and the color is nice. I would recommend to anyone looking for pots and pans. The also stack nicely when storing them in the cabinet. The handles have a rubber covering and it doesn’t get hot on the stove unless you leave it over a hot burner. Great quality product! ... show more

I gambled on this cookware, as I am not familiar with this brand. But I trusted the reviews enough to purchase one saucepan to try. I could not believe how ultra smooth the surface is! It practically cleans itself because nothing sticks and it just needs a quick rub with warm soapy water. I immediately ordered an entire set. You do not want to put these in the dishwasher as it will ruin the wooden handles. However, I find them so quick and easy to clean that it is more efficient to wash them by hand.
