I bought this for my last gen Traxxas TRX4 when the front differential servo stopped working. Unfortunately, this servo is slightly taller than the stock OEM servo. The plastic bottom which extends beyond the blue part of this servo is how much taller this servo is than stock. When attaching the servo holder this lower part of the servo hits part of the frame and causes the servo to tilt toward the battery box and rub against it, making the battery tray very difficult to screw back down. I ended up swapping my transmission gear shift servo out with this one. Then I ran into the next issue, the wire on this servo is shorter than stock by at least a cm or more, so I had to route the wire slightly differently to reach the receiver. Over all, this is a great servo. It is faster than the OEM and has metal shaft and gears, making it more durable. I've had the plastic gears of the OEM servo strip when installing the screw for the servo arm.

I guess I was putting this lil servo in a bind, it worked and then it wouldn't, so I remounted it and now it works every single time, using as a shift servo a trx4. Idk about longevity tho, time will tell

I bought one of these from my redcat ascent 18 as it is advertised to work for that vehicle. It never worked properly. I sent it back and got a and ordered new links in case that was part of the issue, it worked for about 12 minutes before it stopped working. Got a third replacement which worked for 20 minutes before it stopped working. Took my ascent 18 to a professional hobby shop. Hobby shop said there was nothing wrong with my crawler, and that these servos used to be good when they first came out, but now they don't sell them anymore because they got so many returns on them. Took it to a different hobby shop, who told me exactly the same thing. So apparently they were a good product at one point, but they now have such a high failure rate that shops in my area no longer sell these. Buy at your own risk.

Works great just make sure you have them in the right channel it was 4 for the front diff 5 for the rear differential they are strong silent servos seeing I was charging the servos I opened the front and rear diff and I spray WD-40 in to them if you set your vehicle off vertically it will get all the nasty out of it then just clean it thoroughly and some grease once it's dry and that a little adjustment by hand if necessary and everything should be freed up and working properly

Seems like a well assembled product and seems to work correctly. But I had issues with the sizing for the TRX4M. It is a 13mm wide servo but the stock servo is 12mm and it is taller and longer than a stock servo for the TRX4M. IT WILL NOT FIT WITHOUT MODIFYING THE STOCK SERVO MOUNT OR PURCHASING THE ALUMINUM MOUNT FROM INJORA.
