We use this for his outdoor habitat in the spring and summer months. It's held up well under the intense TX summer heat and the multiple heavy rain storms. I would highly recommend weatherproofing it if you plan to leave it outdoors. I have moved it several times without any issues to the frame but you have to do this carefully. The only con I have found is the bottom board that goes into the closed section has become easily warped with rain which is natural I suppose. The perfect bunny house! I love the separate spaces- she can retreat to the enclosed space or be out in the open. It’s easy to pull back the top to clean. Easy to put together and well made. It fits our space perfectly and the bunny seems to really enjoy it.

I bought this enclosure for my red footed tortoise. I like the design and it was for the most part easy to assemble, but I would have liked for parts to be labeled as shown in the instructions. It took less than an hour to put together. I plan on placing it outside during the warmer months of the year and move it inside the garage when it gets colder. My only disappointment is that one of the pieces was bent and we had to bend it back with pliers to make it fit. Also the wooden parts had a very strong pine smell. This is the perfect size for my Buff Orpington mama and her eight, 4 day old chicks. My only complaint is the unfortunate style of latch. The nesting box and the yard are attached by latches.     • It smells like chemical
It wasn't super hard to put together, but the screw holes are not present, so it is a pain in da booty that way. The wood is cheap, but it does the trick for my desert tort hibernation. I set it up on my covered patio with bricks underneath to protect from water because I am sure water would destroyit. I have a huge area for him for the rest of the year, but he was malnourished when I got him so I want to not let him burrow too deep.The worst thing for me is the chemical smell. It has been sitting on my patio for two days and it still has fumes. I have not been able to use it yet. If the smell doesn't dissipate soon, I will return it. . ... show more

I have purchased two of the smaller size and they were much easier to put together than this bigger one. The parts didn’t line up well, there were gaps, and the directions were very unclear. The side panels of the coop are supposed to face a specific way otherwise it won’t line up at all but that’s not mentioned in the instructions at all. One of my floor parts was also damaged.     • A perfect solution
I just got 2 of these. I have several tortoises and this is the best habitat I have found for them so far. Right now I'm using it for a 5 inch Russian and she loves it. I put some old place mats in the bottom for easy cleanups and some eco bark for bedding. She comes out to eat and bask & then back in her nest later on to sleep. I have 2 hatchlings and when they are big enough these will be perfect for natural sun outings safely! I have 5 cats and with these I don't have to worry anymore about them bothering my sweet tortoises or any other predators outside either. They were easy to assemble and seem sturdy enough to last for years with proper use. So glad I found them..well worth the price. They were shipped fast & got them in 4 days! ... show more
