So, I bought this green house to use as a warm dog house during the winter. I’ve had a smaller one for plants in the past so I know it will stay relatively warm during the cold months/cold nights in California. I couldn’t find a dog house big enough for 3 large kennels so I landed on this. (We’ll have a 3rd soon) Instructions kind of sucked. I spent about 3 hours alone putting this together. The numbers on the instructions don’t match with the parts in the box. So I got half way through the frame and realized one whole side was wrong so I had to take it apart and do it over. Whatever, nbd, I fixed it. I also sank 4 T-posts in the ground and zip tied them to the corners of the frame on the inside for some wind support, hopefully it helps keep the house down. Then I put wooden pallets on the sides to help keep the tarp down temporarily until I get some more cement blocks. I plan on adding zip ties to the Velcro that hold the cover on the frame, I just haven’t done that yet. I will say, it’s kind of over priced and I don’t expect the tarp to last super long. I’m hoping to get a year out of it before it rips. I had hoped it would feel more sturdy, but it doesn’t. All in all, it wasn’t horrible to put together if you actually look at it, and for reference I’m a 5’2 female and the hardest past for me was getting the cover over it at the end bc I’m short. ... show more

This item has been good for berries, but it blew over with 20 mph winds so reinforcement steaks are necessary. If you have any wind in your area at all it gets very warm very quick and creates good humidity will probably need to have all of the windows open as soon as it gets warm outside, thankfully it comes with easy rollup windows ... show more

This greenhouse is a great starter greenhouse. The instructions are wonky but if you really look at it you will have it figured out rather quickly. I have no idea why but they had a page that had numbers that don't actually correspond to any actual pieces. I'm not sure if that was a misprint or what. But if you see 7,8 there they are actually 2 & 3 I believe from memory. Looking at the diagram long enough you figure it out. They do need to fix that. Most of the reviews on Amazon for greenhouses like this are going to talk about wind. Absolutely wind is your enemy here but there are ways of mitigating that risk. The best solution is to buy some 12-inch rebar stakes to go in the ground to hold the greenhouse down. Yes, this greenhouse comes with its own stakes but they aren't going to hold it. My greenhouse has stood some 20+ miles per hour wind with the rebar stakes. They are a must if you have wind. Everything else is constructed fairly well. If you opt to use the rebar and I suggest you do then you should also get something to hold the plastic down from the outside. I used larger rocks. I set my built greenhouse down in the area I wanted it. I placed the rebar on the inside and because I did this there was the plastic cover that I positioned to be on the outside of the greenhouse. I elected to hold that down with larger rocks. You will need several. Other things that I could see working would be bricks, cinder blocks, cement blocks, etc. This is honestly a great value for the money you just have to add a few extras to make it something exceptional. I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. The poles are strong and the covering is strong as well. But again, the wind is your enemy and you need to have a plan to resolve that issue if you are going to make this greenhouse last longer than a day. I've had it up for about two months now and it's been great. It keeps my plants really warm during the day and I'm able to keep them in there during the night now because the temps have started to be warm enough. This is something else you might want to think about the greenhouse is going to be really warm when the sun is out but at night it will only be about 2 or so degrees warmer than the outside. You can also improve this if you get certain heating functions in the greenhouse or even old-fashioned C9 Christmas lights (they can't be LED as you need them to give off heat). If they give off heat that means there's room for danger so take precautions. Be careful. Be mindful. Do your own due diligence and this greenhouse will work wonders for you. ... show more

This is my second portable greenhouse to purchase so I could store all of my potted plants throughout the winter. I’m really pleased with it so far, and compared to the one I purchased last year, it’s fantastic! It wasn’t difficult to put together and didn’t take long at all. The frame is sturdy and the cover is thick and seems very durable. I did not use the stakes or rope that came with it because they did seem a little thin and I wanted something more durable. Overall, I would recommend it and I’m impressed with how well it’s still holding up after a couple of months of having it and a few heavy storms and very high winds it has already endured. ... show more

I agree with other reviewers that the printed instructions included are largely unusable. I'd watched the video from this listing a few months ago and it seems like it changed since then. Regardless, it gives a tiny bit more clarity about important steps. All the parts are labeled with small stickers, which helps. But the parts list for screws etc. just noted "in bag." If you end up with 2 extra of everything, you did it correctly. Be careful not to overtighten to the point where the tubes start to squish closed or you won't be able to insert the end caps. It's not a huge detriment, but it will create spaces that lil bugs can get in at the base (into the tubes). Once you realize what the instructions and video is trying to tell you, putting this together isn't that bad. It still took about 2 hours and we split putting the frame together on one day, positioning and putting the cover on for the next day. This primarily was due to the curious wasps, but your experience may vary in that area. I'm tall but still able to stand up fully once inside. I've also purchased a thermometer and cordless fan that can hang from the top. I love that the windows open from the outside and use velcro rather than a zipper. ... show more
