Love it so much, I just purchased a second one! We're a 4 cat household. In the past I owned a Litter Robot 3. It worked well for 2 years but had to go through troubleshooting process every couple of weeks, which was annoying - and then it died. So we purchased a Litter Robot 4 and paid extra for the extended warranty. It died in less than a month (and had error message after error message right out of the box). Troubleshooting info given did not revive it. Could NOT get a hold of a human, all electronic correspondence just referred us back to troubleshooting info. Cut to the chase, spent $1000 on a product with an extended warranty and ended up with a loss to my bank account, loss of an immense amount of time trying to resolve the problem, and no working product, help, or replacement. So back to the tried and true tedious method of scooping. Fast forward: we just moved and this 58 year-old nurse with the aching back is tired. I made the decision to plunge back into the world of automatic litter boxes. After doing a ridiculous amount of research, I decided the catlink robot pro checked all my feature boxes and safety requirements. Trigger pulled. it has now been almost a month of using this, just changed the litter bag for the first time last night!! (For context, only 2 of the 4 cats are using this d/t location in my bedroom). It is extremely quiet for an auto litterbox and NO odor. I have not had one error. The power was lost for a few hours, and when it came back on, no issues with the robot pro. I even set it up initially without wifi d/t it not yet being installed (worked well, just no camera action). The 2 cameras are nice. I can see which cat visited, who did what, and can check in on my bedroom when I'm at work, which is a nice feature. I'm not going to lie, the app is basic and not user friendly. But I didn't get it for its app or camera capabilities, I bought it for its litterbox functions. The cameras, however, work well; and it's nice to see which cat is using the box. And it does track the weight well. We are still scooping the family room litterbox, but not for much longer as the robot pro will be taking over. I have also decided to invest in the auto litter refill, so we'll see how that works. PRO's: 1. quiet for an auto litterbox 2. large soiled litter reservoir averaging what they claim as 2 weeks/2 cats before needing to change (I got just over 3 weeks) 3. super easy to pull the refuse bag closed before opening the drawer - you never have to lay eyes on or breathe in any litter refuse! 4. No odor - there is an odor absorbing system over the refuse drawer. (I have this near my bed and haven't smelled anything stinky yet!) 5. easy to move (has 2 wheels on the base for easy maneuvering) 6. comes with a cleaning wand (which is very handy for the inbetween cleanings or when one of the cats decides to be a contortionist) 7. VERY easy to take apart and clean and the litter pad seems to be very well sealed 8. 2 cameras: 1 that tracks when a cat approaches and 1 inside 9. Tracks weight well 10. Safety features that work well (I tested them out and the box would stop in every scenario) 11. Its been a month, have gone through a power outage, and not 1 error message CONS: 1. app is basic, a little too basic, making it a little difficult to navigate. not a hill to die on, in my opinion

Disclaimers: 1)I did not buy this on Amazon. I bought it somewhere else because they had a bundle deal where you could get it with the litter hopper for refilling, for less than the cost of the robot alone in Amazon 2) This is the first litter robot I’ve owned 3) I have only owned it for a week, so I cannot speak on the long term reliability yet. Having said my disclaimers, this is my review. Originally, I had set out to buy a whisker robot, just because it seemed like that was rhetorical brand that everyone knew and has been around longer. I was concerned about a few things that made me hesitant about buying a litter robot—the first one is obviously cost. These things are expensive, so I didn’t want to pay a ton of money for a thing that wasn’t going to last or that was going to have a bunch of issues. The other concern was the app and the set up. I read a ton of reviews and heard horror stories about how apps failed to connect, etc. I didn’t want to spend three hours trying to figure out how this worked. And lastly, I needed the robot to fit in the only place I could put it. I live in an apartment and there’s not a whole lot of real estate for a huge litter box. It had to fit in a small coat closet. Because of the size, I had to eliminate the Whisker Litter Robot 4 and 5. I checked the measurements and they wouldn’t be able to fit in the closet I had designated for this purpose. The only option from Whisker that would fit, was the EVO. I looked at the reviews and they weren’t stellar. Lots of people complained about the app and connectivity issues. The other common complaint was that it was pretty small and not large enough for more than one cat. It’s technically good enough for two cats, but from the reviews, lots of people said it barely keeps up with 2. I have two cats and there are planes of getting a third one. So I was hesitant about the EVO for those reasons. I searched for alternatives and the Catlink Scooper Robot Pro came up. It was a large machine with all the fancy bells and whistles of the Whiskers Robot Pro 4 and 5, BUT according to the measurements, it actually fit in my closet (barely). It was also much cheaper and the one I found came with a hopper, for less than the fancy Whisker models and it was barely more expensive than the EVO with many more features. Because the model is new there weren’t that many reviews, but other Catlink products seem to have good reviews. I also watched some YouTube reviews of the machine (there aren’t that many, since it’s a pretty new model) and they were very good. I decided to take a risk and ordered it. It has exceeded my expectations quite a bit. Set up was flawlessly easy. I literally just plugged it in, downloaded the app and filled in my WiFi network and password. The machine didn’t have one single hiccup and neither did the app. The only minor snag, was that one of the litter screens came a little bent and also, I think I installed it wrong at the beginning and it wasn’t working properly. It fell off and then I placed it back. I don’t know exactly what I did, but the second time I installed it, it fit much better and worked correctly. Hasn’t had a snag since. It was my error and it was easily corrected. I hadn’t realized how many times my cats use the litter per day! Before this, I never really thought about it, but now I understand why it always smelled horrible! Just in the time we sleep at night, they use it about 4 times each! Plus a few more times during the day. Currently I have it in the manual setting, because one of my cats is very sensitive and I know that if she EVER sees the thing moving, she’ll get scared and not want to go pee in there again. So I run the cleaning whenever she is not around. Maybe when she’s more used to it I’ll put it in automatic mode. The litter is always clean, it doesn’t smell, it refills the litter on its own, the app never has any issues— it is just a dream come true! Highly recommend!

I’ve been using the CATLINK Self-Cleaning Litter Box – Scoop Robot Pro for about two weeks now, and honestly, it has made my daily routine so much easier. I have 3 cats at home, and this litter box has been amazing for keeping everything cleaner and more convenient. The self-cleaning feature works really well and saves me from constantly scooping litter every day. Odor control is also much better than I expected, which helps keep my apartment smelling fresh. One of the biggest improvements I noticed compared to my previous model is the quality and durability of the inner liner. The Scoop Robot Pro feels much more premium, stable, and well-designed overall. It definitely feels like a big upgrade. I also love the smart app features, especially the multi-cat tracking and monitoring system. It gives me extra peace of mind knowing I can keep track of my cats’ litter habits more easily. Most importantly, all 3 of my cats adapted to it very quickly and seem very comfortable using it. If you’re looking for a smart, convenient, and safe litter box solution for your cats, I highly recommend this product.
