Upon first wash, use and was again I do love this! I am getting rid of all my old Teflon cookware and plastic stuff. I have switched to ceramic, glass and stainless steel. This DOES heat up quickly. I was surprised by that description. It is non stick. I got the 6 qt which was perfect. I almost got the 8 but that would have been more of a tall kettle than a regular pot. Great pot. I was wanting to buy a nonstick pot but mistakenly bought this one. Glad I did though bc I love it. It's nice and big and I don't have to worry about scratching up a nonstick coating on the inside. However, the outside coating on mine is already scratched even though I've been very careful with it. Very nice pot. Very sturdy. Aesthetically pleasing. The only thing is that food did burn to the bottom of the pot. It was on low. I hand washed it as they told me to but the bottom still seems a little burnt. I'm sure it'll be fine!
