  • Really solid card at the right price.
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
I got this card when I had prime (which got me a slight discount). Right now with GPU prices not going down too much so I picked this up. I upgrade from a 2070 Super and it plays the games I care about and this card has good raster performance. Granted this card will now be able to use FSR4 and have better Raytracing (but still doesn't compare to the NVIDIA cards). I also got this card given how shady NVIDIA has been lately with its 5000 series cards. It preforms much better than my old card. Make sure you do setup a proper fan curve in the AMD Adrenaline software and find a good guide to tune the card as the power draw and heat an get high. That and tuning the card correctly will get you pretty good performance with lower temps and fan noise (especially if you're really susceptible to fan noise). Although I said to tune the fan curve, the fan is not too bad at all (I barely hear it over my radiator fans). I currently run this card on the performance mode. Finally, the card is pretty small compared to the the other cards around this generation. So much so, you won't need to buy a GPU brace if you have reinforced PCI-Slots and the extra support with the expansion card bracket. If you want good performance with rasterized graphics this is the card for you. If you want better raytracing, I wouldn't really pick this card up (it's better but not great that's for sure). ... show more

  • Fantastic GPU
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
I had no clue what I was upgrading to, but now after a few weeks I gotta say, this GPU is a BEAST. All games cranked to max setting and this bad boy has no problems at all

  • Great GPU
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was gonna arrive in mint condition, but after inspection, it looked great. After installing, I noticed the fans didn’t turn on, but don’t be afraid, they will only turn on when needed, so that’s a good little feature. I also love how there’s not much RGB, I’m not really a fan of RGB lighting. My PC build is more of a performance build rather than aesthetic. Anyways, I would recommend this graphics card. ... show more

  • This card is definitely the one
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
AMD especially this Gigabyte 9070xt overclocked offers superior price-to-performance compared to the NVIDIA 5070 Ti, and its software suite has improved considerably in recent years. A key example is the new 25.9.1 driver update, which enhances FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). This update enables FSR 4.0.1 for all titles that support FSR 3.1, thereby eliminating the need for third party upscaling tools. Simply put buy this and you will not be disappointed! ... show more

It has served me well on 95% of games. I don’t play very many new games but I have always ran at high or ultra.

  • Strong Mid Range Champion with Solid Build and Smart Cooling
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
This GIGABYTE RX 9070 Gaming OC balances speed, features, and build quality in the $550–$700 range, making it a compelling mid-range option especially if you prioritize future ready features like FSR 4, RDNA 4 ray tracing, and PCIe 5.0. If you see thermal issues with your unit, a thermal pad swap could offer a quick fix. Strengths Potential Drawbacks Excellent raster and ray tracing performance VRAM thermals may benefit from aftermarket pads Cutting-edge features: FSR 4, HYPR-RX6, PCIe 5.0 Slightly above MSRP; consider 9070 XT if available Advanced, efficient cooling and solid build Limited adoption of FSR 4 titles (as of mid-2025). It looks great. ... show more

  • Impressive performance, considering the size
Style: GAMING Size: RADEON9070XT|OC
This is actually the most shortest RX 9070 XT currently available, at "only" 288mm (11.3 in) long, and one of the narrowest, coming in at 2.8 slots wide. Gigabyte also does not state the weight of the card on their spec sheet, but I have seen it listed at 2.78 lb or 1261g at other retailers. This is light enough that Gigabyte doesn't include a stand. And IMO, it doesn't need one. Compare this to the biggest card, the XFX Mercury, at 5.18 lb or 2350g -- the Gigabyte Gaming OC is nearly half the card. So you might think that its thermal performance would be underwhelming. Yet it runs cool and quiet despite pulling 330W under load, and they even somehow managed to cram a vapor chamber into the design. It's also backed by a three-year warranty in case you have concerns about endurance. Meanwhile, the RGB is restricted to a small logo on the side, which cycles through a bright rainbow of colors by default. I prefer a stealth build, so thankfully you can adjust this or turn it off with the company's Gigabyte Control Center software. Though I have heard that this app is a bit shoddy, so I wouldn't use it to adjust performance. Using AMD's Adrenaline software instead, you can undervolt and adjust the power limit with sliders, and here you will discover that you can actually get higher clock speeds, less heat and less fan noise by reducing voltage and power limits. Apparently the clocks hit a thermal ceiling by default, so reducing voltage and power can make them go higher. However, this can introduce some instability (regardless of the video card brand), so some games and apps may crash if your settings are too ambitious. Overall, I have been pretty pleased with this relatively compact card. RDNA4 introduces a huge boost in ray tracing -- 40-50% higher than my 6900 XT. And raster performance is about 30% higher on average. Then there's FSR4, whose image quality is within spitting distance of DLSS4 (though it's not supported by as many games). A few tweaks to the voltage and power limits can also bring this card's efficiency well in line with the RTX 5070 Ti -- with performance to match, depending on the game. I had my doubts about this specific model after looking at its dimensions and weight, but it has proved to be a pleasant surprise. ... show more
