Piece of cake to install. My flats boat trailer came with bunk boards very far aft to help lineup and get the boat on the trailer more smoothly. Why I bought the Guide Polls are for a couple steep ramps that makes it impossible to see the trailer while backing down to retrieve the boat. (GMC 1500 pickup with the tailgate down) Loss of sight of the trailer just long enough to look like a beginner/1st timer backing up a trailer. With the reflectors (basically reflective tape) on the top of the PVC tubing (Walmart purchased) makes backing the trailer in the dark easier from a depth perception standpoint a little less stressful. Once arrived (took almost a week) they were easy to install on trailer. Went fishing in river and had no problems with the guides loading or unloading the boat.

    • The PVC pipes need a better fastening method to prevent from losing them off the metal guides
I was hoping they would be a little more rugged than what I got. Not bad for a smaller and lighter boat than my 20 foot SeaFox but not too sure how they will hold up over time. Didn't care for the method of holding on the PVC pipe guide covers so I modified the hex head bolts by adding stainless fender washers to hold the PVC pipe covers in place more securely. I don't think the system that came with the order would hold the pipe covers on without losing them off the metal guides. Did not cost much compared to some others that I looked at but I guess you get what you pay for! ... show more
