Good value for the money. Buyers should understand that this (and any similar) charger only charges at 16A at the higher, Level 2 voltage (220-240 VAC) (The same is true for 24A and 32A Level 1 & 2 chargers ) People who (unfortunately) are limited to Level 1 (110-120 VAC) have few higher charge options. This has to do with the lower voltage into the charger. What is nice about 16A charging at 220 VAC is it can safely be used on a 20A circuit without having to install a much larger (and more expensive) circuit. For example a 32A charger requires a minimum of 40A for continuous use, but typically 50A is the next step above 220 VAC @ 30A. It gets the job done and a 20A branch circuit (with it's own 20A breaker) was easy to install off an existing 30A circuit. Charges 2.66X faster than a120 VAC, 12A charger which is just fine for a PHEV.

Nice charger kit. Well made, ran very close to what the outputs were set for. Timer function worked as described. We have this as a just in case, when overnight road tripping to friends out of state, gives us the ability to charge while they also charge their own vehicle. It is slow, we are used to out 48a level 2 charger, which takes up to 8 hours to charge from ~30 to 95% this will take up to 1.5 days to fully charge if cold, at 16a. We were able to manage 125 miles of charge in 12 hours which gets us home from visiting our friends overnight. Screen is fairly legible in daylight, which I like, especially when using it outside, you need bright display to look and see how it's doing since there is no app to check on progress remotely aside from the car's. Super easy to use, includes a 15 & 20 amp adapter, including the kind of plug to use a 240v dryer outlet, or plug into a regular 120v receptacle, select your amperage & duration & you're off to the races. The kit bag is a tad large, ev storage is at a premium, so we had to store in multiple (2) compartments without the bag. Beyond that I'm happy, its an ev security blanket, and its not daunting so my wife is mot freaked out using it unlike many of the doohickeys I get she isn't thrilled to use. Was a tad high priced when we grabbed one, seems to be a better deal these days. For what it is, how it is now, I'd say a worthwhile value for extra piece of mind. Oh yeah, if your car uses NACS, you'll need 1772 to nacs adapter to use this with it, it does not come with one.

The best thing about this portable EV charger is that it can plug into a NEMA 220v socket and provide the level two charging if the 220 is available. But it can handle a trickle charge at 110 also, it is just as functional that way, but a little bit slower. It's very high quality and has a nice little display that tells me everything I need to know. As a stationary unit it installs easily because it can be placed anywhere. It's very easy to use because it's truly Plug and Play with a single start button and no need to program unless you want something custom. Very inexpensive making it a great value.

I’ve been using this portable charger, and it’s a simple but quality unit that does exactly what you need. It supports Level 2 charging with the included cable and Level 1 using the adapter cable, so it’s versatile for different situations. It has a straightforward display for showing the current, and single buttons let you set the current and a timer to help optimize charging. The charging rate is exactly what I would expect, and it does so reliably. While it’s designed to be portable, you can definitely use it in a garage too, though I wish it had a built-in holder so I could keep it off the ground. The connectors feel precise and confident when you insert them, and the materials overall feel solid with thick, pliable cabling. The included bag is a nice touch to keep all the cords together. This is a quality EV charger that feels like a good value for its quality and reliability.

I wanted to get a portable charger so I had something for my E Tron that I could store in the car without having to remove the Audi one. It comes in a nice portable bag, and it works just fine. My chief complaint is the plug style. The lower amperage is about the only version you'll be able to use as most people don't have the higher amperage plug style. It would have been much better to install a standard NEMA style plug so you could use it anywhere. They could probably fix this by including an additional plug option. Still, it'll be good for travel where a fast charger isn't around.

I brought it with me over Thanksgiving to my parents’ house to charge my car, and it worked perfectly. The charging speed isn’t as fast as my home charging station, but honestly, it does its job.
