  • Nice and solid!
Color: Chrome
I've missed doing push ups since I injured my wrist. It is getting better, but the extension required for traditional push ups still puts too much strain on it. I decided to look for push up bars, or the Perfect Push up to help with that. Having used both in the past, I wasn't impressed enough with the Perfect Push up to justify the extra cost. When these came in, assembly was a breeze, just having to screw in 4 wing bolts. The next test was to see how they help up to my 235lbs. I have done many sets of push ups on them by now, and they are still rock solid. The base is nice and sturdy, so I can even position my hands narrow, wide, or even in front and they feel steady. Best of all, they take the strain off of my wrists. These are well worth the money if you are looking into getting something like this. ... show more

  • Great for traveling with
Color: Chrome
This is an awesome set of push up bars for the price. I do a lot of traveling and I love the fact that these bars use a wing nut to hold the feet to the handle. This allows me to fold them down in less than a minute and place them in my suitcase for working out in my hotel room. Some hotels the company books do not have fitness centers and these were an awesome find. As for quality. I want to say excellent so far. I use them 3 to 4 times a week so far with no issues. I myself am 6foot tall and weigh 200 pounds. I use them at various angles(think p90x) including wide grip and decline with my feet up on a chair. The grip is comfortable enough, and if you think that it is not, add a washcloth, no biggie. The hard plastic for the feet have a very slight rubbery feel, which helps it to not slide while in use at home. I have hardwood floors at home. They work well on carpet also. In my opinion, these are a great find for the price. Again, the travel aspect works wonders for me, since I have limited space in my bag for workout stuff. The quality is much better than you would expect for the price. I am happy with this product. ... show more

  • "Sturdy, Familiarity and Reasonably Priced Won my Money"...
Color: Chrome
I believe these are essentially identical to the ones I owned for many, many years minus a brand name which was printed on the foam (as I recall). They were an excellent product for a modest cost. I endured a pec belly muscle tear and as a result I donated my old pair to Goodwill since I thought I likely would never be able to utilize them again. Of course through intensive therapy and 2.5 years, I ended up needing them again to do "modified push-ups". This product looks and works almost exactly as my previous pair did. The only con of this version is that the foam hand grips are a pretty soft foam and chrome is a pretty slippery metal. As a result the foam constantly wants to slip down the sloped metal portions of these bars. Thus, you will need to keep adjusting them between sets. Fortunately, the majority of the time they stay in place "enough" for you to complete a set of 20-25 reps or so. I would classify this as more of a nuisance than a real serious problem with the product. Of course I would like them to see if they can come up with a foam which is a little thicker, more firm and see if there's anything manufacturing can do to address the "slippery slope" issue. Possibly there isn't, but it is "worth a sniff". All in all, they are a very good product and very stable. I am 6'1" and weigh 202 pounds and these work very well for me and don't wobble like you read about a lot of other similar products (possibly designed more for lighter framed women). I've done a few regular push-ups as well and these are stable for that as well. ... show more

  • Solid set of push up bars at a great price
Color: Chrome
The Definity HHP-001 Push Up bars are solid set of push up bars at a great price. I had a hard time deciding among the many push up bars available on Amazon, and ultimately decided on these due to large number of positive reviews and price. There are several other push up bars on Amazon that cost as much as three times the price of the Definity HHP-001 push up bars, however after receiving these I didn't find any reasons to spend more money on the more expensive models. These do not slip on the floor or wobble while being used, they are easy to assemble (no tools required), and are made from high quality material. The grips on these push up bars feel soft, and feel like they should last for a long time. When I first took them out of the box I was surprised at how light weight they were and wondered how stable the would feel after being assembled. However after assembling and using them any doubt was quickly erased. If you're looking for a solid set of push up bars at a good price, you can't got wrong with these. ... show more

  • Works for Work Outs
Color: Chrome
When I fist picked the pieces up out of they box they were SUPER lighweight and looked like they could be pretty cheap. They were super easy to assemble which is great for me since I travel and stay in hotels a lot for work so I can just stick them in my bag. I first tried them out on my tile floors. I was sure they were going to slide out from under me and i was going to smack my face since the black feet are plastic but they were extremely stable and didnt budge at all even when i bounced on them trying to get them to move. They were very comfortable on my hands and wrists. The cushion is a little thin but I dont do THAT many pushups, for me they're just fine. Im so happy I got these. I dont think I would have gotten anything else with a more expensive model than I got with these. ... show more

  • Great push up tool
Color: Chrome
This is the best device for doing push ups. It is so much easier on your wrists and hands. Even so when doing planks, and you really feel like you are getting a better work out. These are great for developing a good strong grip as well. I do 3 sets of 15 reps of push ups, then a couple minutes of planks, then a couple of other exercises and I just love these. They are easy to grip, they stay tight to the floor and did not slip. They are simple to put together, made well, pretty cheap money wise, and a nice addition to my work out gear. I would recommend these to anyone who is serious about fitness. My wife can even use them. Great for building upper body strength without having to go to the gym or buying a bunch of weights. • Now THESE Are Great
Color: Chrome
Really nice height to get excellent range of motion and depth of rip, and I am 6'3" with 72" reach. The grips are the most comfortable I have ever used before. I am just simply used to intense pain and though for me pain really does'nt register, comfort certainly does, and they do feel good. Very light, as easy to travel with than you could ever want, and get 8/10 for traction on smooth floors. I personally have them set up on cynder blocks, and prop my feet on a chair for ideal elevation, and it truly does feel Amazing... And definitely delivers max results. I already love doing push ups because they are such an excellent exercise if done properly, and these simply make them perfectly enjoyable to me on all levels. Good luck to all who share my enthusiasm and be assured these really are very good and entirely comfortable. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Color: Black
Does it's job and has held up for the few years I have owned it so far. Has a little bit of wobble (very slight) when doing exercises, but it's still usable. My main complaint is the foam offers too little padding.
