This is probably my single favorite cable pulley machine attachment that I have so far, I previously already had the short straight revolving bar from Yes4all that doesn't have the rubber grips and I do like it a lot and you can see the differences of the two in my pictures but sometimes I feel like that other bar might slip out of my hands after I get tired and my hands get sweaty even though it does have some knurling but the grip on this bar with the rubber grips is much better and this bar is also heavier but it feels sturdy and the quality isn't perfect like on the rubber parts or in the center but it's still definitely worth the amount of money and I would rather pay less for a Cap product than multiple times more for another brand that charges more that might not even be any better or not much better as long as you get a good item from Cap and I really don't know if the more expensive brands sell a different product or if they're all made by the same manufacturers and they just sell them to different companies who re sell them with their own names but either way this is a great bar for the price, the rubber grips on this bar really do ad a lot to your grip, only time will tell how long the rubber parts will last because I know on some bars the rubber part tends to fall apart after a while people say which is why I was hesitant to buy a bar like this with rubber grips before but it definitely feels well made on this bar, secure and extremely durable so the rubber areas on this bar feel like they'll last a long time but if anyone were to get only a single attachment for a cable pulley machine I would recommend a short straight revolving bar like this one for sure that you can do a lot of exercises with and this one made by Cap with a lot of rubber gripping might just be your best bet for the price, I still want the Champion version that's all metal with the rubber round knobs on the end to have 3 different straight revolving bars with 3 different grips but maybe in the future I'll get that one if it ever comes back in stock or I might get the slightly cheaper version made by Cap which is also out of stock currently but this bar and the other one that I have are both great but this one is definitely worth purchasing for anyone that wants that extra solid grip.

LOVE the rubber grips. They stink for a week or so, but are well worth it. This is a high quality attachment, although, the first one I ordered was VERY rusty ... everywhere. The first one was also nicked and scratched up really bad and missing the chrome finish in multiple places, hence the rust... I shipped it back (at no cost) and received a replacement about a week later. The replacement had very minimal rust (not enough that I'm concerned about it) and no damage. Aside from the rust and damage on the first one, this is a great attachment and I'd highly recommend it. The outter grip angle gets my back and biceps in was that a regular lat pull-down bar can't, making this a great addition to my home-gym. The rotating connection peice is a MUST. I highly reccomend this attachment. Tip: I also use this (the inner grip) as my short straight bar and it works great. So it saved me from having to purchase another attachment.

Unbiased review. I did not receive any discount or free merchandise for this review... Now that is out of the way... moving on. We purchased a nice squat rack off of CL and it had a cable attachment but no bars came with it. Found this bar and thought I'd give it a try. For the price, why not. Got it in the mail a couple days later. Bar was a bit heavier than expected but it feels solid! I wanted to try this one out because of the swiveling attachment point. Nothing like tearing your hands apart even more than what you have to. Anyways, it's a good bar, but the knobs on the end of the bar seem to be a bit big. Nothing I didn't get used to, but in the beginning, it took a while to figure out a comfortable grip when doing push downs. I'd buy again, I don't foresee any issues with it anytime in the near or distant future.

This bar is almost perfect for what I needed it. It is solidly built. Weighty. The only problem I see is that the bearings/bushings are a little rough. It does rotate but you can feel the internal grittiness when it does. The light lifting that I do this is no big deal.

This thing is solid - probably weighs around 15 pounds or more. The actual dimensions are not exactly what I expected, but it's close enough. The actual width from outside edge of the handholds is actually 27" and the interior width from the inside edge of each handhold is 24.5". Just be aware of that if you are looking for a smaller or larger width. Says Made in China (not surprising), but again, this is one solid hunk of metal. Bought this off Amazon Warehouse denoted as "used, but good condition". My guess is someone took this out of the original box (which was kind of beat up) and just sent it back for whatever reason. The metal parts still had a sheen of machine oil. HUGE discount off of the new price - probably 70% off.

Absolutely fantastic, at an unbeatable price (especially with free shipping). Quality is better than what I find in most gyms, and the rubber grips are actually fixed in place, not sliding back and forth. I’ve had trouble growing my lats with a standard bar, the neutral grip on this, and dimensions, are perfect. Exactly As good as the other big name brands. Wish I got it sooner!

Quality and a must have for working out the Triceps's. A 20inch bar is a must have and this item is very well built. I was using a wide bar for pushdowns then I visit a gym and used a smaller bar and it was just a better feel. So I purchased this item and use it on my FreeMotion machine in my home gym. Great value!!
