  • Needs more options on the incline, but still a pretty good bench for the money.
Color: Green
Not that easy to assemble, but fairly robust. I knocked off a star because the bench doesn't give you a lot of options on the incline (or as many as I'd like). Not that easy to assemble, you have to sort of figure it out a little for yourself.

  • Not the best, but to be expected for the price
I've been wanting a weight bench and when I came across this one for $60, I figured I'd give it a shot. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews, but figured it would (hopefully) work for what I needed it for. The instructions look daunting, considering it's just pictures with numbers, instead of written out. However, if you take a minute to orient yourself, they're relatively easy to follow (just be sure not to rip open the hardware package because they're labeled and if you rip it open and they scatter, you won't know what's what). It's definitely not the sturdiest or best bench, but it'll do. The seat of the bench is oddly large IMO, which I feel like affects the rest of it. Also, I don't like the decline option because this bench isn't made to where you can do sit ups without hurting your back. Overall, it isn't the best bench but it isn't the worst. It should still work just fine for leg drives, shoulder presses, etc. However, if you're wanting a sturdier bench that can comfortably decline, you may look for something a little higher quality. ... show more

  • Torn back rest near stitching, but other than that it is good
Tear in the backrest, poor stitching. But other than that it is good for the money.

  • Nightmare to assemble
I counted 10 pieces (not including hardware, of course). Diagrams are hard to interpret, with no written step by step instruction AT ALL. Some diagrams show bolts going in one hole and coming out another on the other side. I have back issues, and I was in agony putting this together, as the main frame pieces are heavy, and assembly requires awkward positioning to put pieces together (esp the back assembly). You need some of your own tools (I suggest an adjustable wrench and a Phillips head screwdriver.) The included Allen wrench is useless without some way secure the nut on the other side of the bolt. If your are over 6 ft or 250lbs, despite the 600lb rating, this mat be too wobbly for you. ... show more

  • Im happy for what i need
Color: Green
I bought this bench for price and color (green) for my home gym. I am very pleased with it. Like other comments, packaging is garbage and could be better. My parts are all in great condition though. No cuts, tears or scratches. My intended use is for dumbells and resistance bands. Other comments say instructions arent very clear but it is very simple to assemble. you will need a socket or cresent wrench also ... show more

  • Sturdy and rugged enough for home use
Color: Green
This bench is great. You'll need a wrench to properly tighten everything, but after that, this bench feels really study and doesn't rock or shift under my weight and a set of dumbbells. I wouldn't use it as a step up bench, however. For use in its intended purpose, I think it's a really solid deal.

  • Good inexpensive light to medium duty bench
Color: Black
This bench was fairly simple to assemble taking approx. 30 minutes. It can be folded for storage or transport, however there will still be flappy bits so watch your doorways (and shins). As far as use goes, I'm about 200lbs and have loaded it with another 140 lbs in dumbells doing presses. The base is wide enough that I could do single chest flys without worrying too much about stability, and I've also used it is a step along with another person. The seat and back rest are slightly narrower than I would prefer, and seem to be ply covered in foam. The incline adjustments are adequate, and there is only one decline position. I would prefer one more both ways, but it's fine as it is. Once or twice, I've noticed... not a failure exactly, but a bit more flex than I'd like, or a small pop as some joint binds a bit. None of these have been overly concerning and have happened infrequently in over 3 months of daily use, but they are enough that I wouldn't recommend it for more than maybe 400 lbs combined. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it for $60. If you are benching twice your body weight, you should be looking at something else, but for most at home dumbell type things, it should be fine. ... show more
