    • It was great - the 1 time is actually worked
Received my first unit damaged and would not work. Camplux reviewed it with their warranty team and sent me a new unit. The new unit ran fine for 1 day (I’m using it to heat a stock tank pool and it brought the water from 65 to 95 within a matter of 4 hours or so). The second time I went to go use it, the system would not work (stay lite) for more than 1-2 minutes, before shutting down and then continually trying to relight and sometime displaying an EA code. Reached out to camplux and they had me unplug the temperature probe and plug it back it. That fixed the EA code but unfortunately the system continued shutting down within minutes of being fired up. So I haven’t been able to get it to work properly since the first use. I even bought a less powerful water pump, wondering if it was pushing water through too fast - but alas, that did not help either. I did all the troubleshooting recommended and nothing has worked and it’s been the most frustrating $469 purchase ever. I’ve reached out to Camplux twice for additional help with the issue and have received no reply. Would not recommend - it is too expensive to risk it not working properly. ... show more

    • Stopped igniting after 4 uses.
Had the product less than a week. Set up was easy. Heater worked amazingly for 4 uses. Then the ignition stopped working consistently. If it did work ignite it would shut off after starting up. Stopped igniting completely. I’d rate it higher, because when it worked it was great. But a heater that won’t ignite is useless. ... show more

When we go on family trips sometimes we need a little extra of that hot water, so my father was in need of a new portable water heater. The last one he had just stopped operating one time when we were out camping. That wasn't fun. So I found this one by CAMPLUX and based on the information provided this sounded like a logical decision. After getting this home and installed by my BIL- this is definitely a good water heater that has proved it is reliable. I'm glad of this decision and now we don't have to worry about running out while out using our RV's.
