I've bought other bucatstate stuff for my Syrian hamster but never paper bedding before and I'm actually pretty impressed! I've been using the popular (KT) white brand but I kept finding weird stuff in it and I gotta say I think I'm going to switch to this brand. It's much more dust free than what I was using, and it's very clean and soft. The colors are really cute (I got the green because my cage has a forest theme) and it really fluffs up nicely without being cottony or dusty. I'm a big fan! It's a pretty decent price too because it fluffs up a LOT.

This bedding is really soft and more compressed than other brands I have purchased in the past. It doesn't have any weird smells and is so soft when it is fluffed up. I also love how thick it is when placed in the cage, allowing my gerbils to make some really nice tunnels. While it isn't as cheap as what I can get at the pet store, the quality is much higher and does seem to absorb pee better. I just wish it came in a larger bag. Overall, though, it is worth it with how well it works!

The media could not be loaded. Finding uniquely colored bedding that’s not rough or coarse like a lot of the pet store retailers is difficult. They are either bland or contain too much dust making the cleanup process afterwards messy (despite being advertised as ‘dust free’!) The Bucatstate hamster bedding has the best of both worlds, truly dust free soft bedding and a nice range of colors. We let our senior hamster, Raichu make himself comfortable for a week in it and it seems he loves to forage and nap in it. Usually whatever Raichu likes, our other hamsters will also appreciate. We have not seen him sneeze yet which he is usually more susceptible to than our younger hamster. Really looking forward to coming up with some other cage themes to use the other bedding colors in now!

This bedding is SO fun. I usually stick with white for my hamsters, but went with the blue this time. It looks so fun! It is not dusty at all. It reminds me more of tissue paper than cotton balls, but is still soft. I did notice a smell, but nothing overwhelming and not a bad smell. I couldn't put my finger on what kind of smell it was, but I did not feel like it was strong or offensive to me or my hamster. I have the large bucatstate 3.0 cage so one bag was perfect for a top layer to decorate. I use platforms with nine inch legs so that my hamsters have deep bedding to burrow and enjoy and this bedding added festivity and fun all around the enrichment. This bedding was a great addition to our hamster's cage and I recommend this brand. I have really enjoyed all the Bucatstate items I have bought for our hamsters, and we have bought many.

I already know from having a free sample that this bedding is toilet paper consistency and basically disintegrates when wet. I only wanted it for some color as a top layer. In the future I will stick with Carefresh.

I regret buying this hamster bedding. As soon as I opened the bag, there was a strong chemical smell. After spreading it out, the odor only got worse that it made me nauseous, dizzy, and even gave me a headache. The texture is also disappointing: the paper material is rough and coarse, nothing like the soft, fluffy bedding from other brands. Honestly, putting your hamster in this would be like making someone live in a house full of formaldehyde. I ended up throwing the entire pack away. Considering this costs about twice as much as other brands, it’s absolutely not worth it!

This bedding is so soft and packs down great for burrowing. Holds uring good and doesn't smell. I recommend this product for small pets as I use it for 2 hamster cages. It expands nicely holding my hamsters decor and housing. They love it!! I had to do a spot clean today.
