EDIT: literally a week after posting this review the top thread of the broom handle cracked, completely severing the top piece from the rest and I’ve had to tape it together. That’s not going hold much longer. I swear it’s like a curse that your return window ends or you finally review something on here and suddenly it stops working right lol. I love this broom and dust pan set. At first I thought the bristles were too springy but you get used to that and I found it helps the broom to maneuver into tighter spots. The lip of the dust pan has a good “seal” against the floor so dust doesn’t just go under it unless you have uneven floors. I love the toothy part that combs the broom to remove things like hair. I have chronic pain issues and am fatigued VERY easily and this set is so light weight that it doesn’t tire me out and I can very easily sweep even one handed with straining my wrist. You could also make the broom short for shorter people or children to use. ... show more

The broom is a little flimsy but the dustpan is great. You never have to worry about the bits of fluff or dust left behind, the dustpan picks it all up. Not having to squat down and work the line of dust/debris back and forth to get it into the dustpan is much appreciated.

We have three big dogs and the drifts of hair everywhere are a challenge. When my long-handled dust pan broke, I got this one. It is wonderful! The biggest gift is the row of little rubbery "teeth" that pulls the hair out of the broom, something that was always hard with my old broom. If they were going to modify it in any way, the only suggestion I would have is to reduce the width of the brush a tad because it is a little tricky getting all of it into the pan for storage.     • Dustpan warped over time and became unusable until I fixed (edited)
Edited - if anyone else had this problem. I was able to fix the dustpan by putting a brick on it for a couple of days. It is now straight as an arrow again and I was able to use it today. Not sure if it will warp again, but at least I don't need to throw it in the trash. Upgraded stars from 1 to 3. Bought this to sweep up in my garage and shed. Had it hanging on a wall for about a year. Only used it a handful of times. I went to use it today and the dustpan had warped (bending away from the floor) by a couple centimeters. So now when you try to sweep anything into the dustpan it just goes underneath. I tried pushing hard on the dustpan handle when sweeping to try to eliminate the warp, but it doesn't work. We have a couple dustpans in our house that we have literally had for decades that still are straight. It could be the plastic on this one is too thin, or just not very good quality. ... show more

Have never had such a great broom— pliable yet tough. Sweeps up even sawdust, bird seed hulls and feathers. And the teeth in the dustpan keeps the broom bristles clean w out having to pull lint and such off by hand. Highly recommend it and especially for those with inside pets
