This bench is very substantial and well built. I like that it is collapsible although it doesn't collapse very slim but enough to get it out of the way. It locks into place really well when it's collapsed also. I could use one more incline setting but I can add a spacer to the flat setting as a work around. Some folks have complained about the gap between the bottom and top half of the bench. I was worried about that as well. I'm 5'8"/5'9" and the just laying on the top half for flat bench exercises worked fine for me...even if my butt is kind of in or just above the gap. Bigger than expected. Bench adjusts by screwing and unscrewing locking mechanism, which is kind of a pain. Wish I had gotten 2.1 that you could just lift and adjust quickly.

Took a while to assemble. If you are not comfortable with the limited tools they include, and do not have tools of your own, this can be a chore. Not all the anchoring points were spot-on aligned, but as I am not intimidated by such things, I overcame those points. Take your time, the project is time consuming, not impossible. More stable than other advertised benches. Handles my weight of 150 plus 30lb dumbells. Does what I need for now, will see how it does if I'm able to get stronger and increase dumbell weight.
