First of all, it was well packaged and assembly instructions/hardware labeling was the best for any product I’ve ever put together. Lots of pieces and it only took about 20 minutes and there was no searching for the piece. The instructions are written and with illustrations, but the illustrations are so clear you don’t need to read a thing. So well done there. The actual bench itself seems good - it’s sturdy with no wobble and the upholstery seems good so far. The only two things I’d change is the hardware that secures the incline of the bench is just a free peg - it need to come all the way out to change position and it’s tight enough of a fit to be a little obnoxious. The other thing is the gap between the seat and back rest of the bench is a little wider than is comfortable for me. Definitely though it seems like a solid value ... show more

    • Great product, definitely need your own wrenches to put together effectively.
I was REALLY skeptical about this bench due to so many bad reviews about assembling it-- figured I had a 50/50 chance of it being even decently constructed but with benches so hard to find during Covid I jumped at the chance to purchase it when one became available. Guess what. It works like a charm and I'm thrilled with it. It comes with detailed instructions and really it's just a bunch of bolts and nuts to get it set up. It comes with two wrenches which are NOT enough to get the job done without way too much effort-- like little Ikea wrenches. I used my own wrenches and it worked like a charm. Definitely follow the instructions and don't tighten the nuts until all bolts are done, then tighten at the end. It's not stable until all of the nuts are tightened. I love this bench. Sure, the gap is a little big between the seat and back, but for incline this is really good bang for the buck and it works fine as a flat bench. I love the wheels that make it easy to move around, since I'm using a flat bench as well and move the two around. Highly recommend. ... show more

Assembly is extremely simple. Very sturdy, no wobbling or shaking while using. Definitely worth the price. Only downside is the back padding is a bit tough and the back is a bit narrow. No leg stops for decline position to stop from sliding backwards, but it’s manageable as long as you’re aware of it. Great for the price and definitely gets the job done. ... show more

For the price its great. You have to pull pins out and reinsert them to adjust it so its a little time consuming but not bad. The bench is a little narrow at the shoulders compared to others I've had, so it seems a little unstable for now.

Was worried after reading alot of the 1-2 star reviews but after setting up the bench (with personal wrench, the tools they give you suck), there was 0 wobble during my workout thus this was a great purchase. Glad I didn't have to dish out hundreds a bench for my home-gym. I'm 6'2 240 lbs and don't really notice the gap thats often complained about. Also Its not the bench for large people that intend on using this 30 lb piece of equipment for decline sit ups... naturally you will wobble. ... show more
