Update: I finally got this umbrella (with all the necessary parts) and it was easy for 2 people to set up and it works great. Unfortunately it took a month, with 2 re-orders and a lot of back-and-forth with Amazon customer service to get it. Bluu customer service was terrific. They replied to my emails within a day, and really tried to help, but the problems seem to be beat-up packaging and UPS not caring about honoring the Prime delivery date. And now I have to wait for UPS to deliver the umbrella I returned back to Amazon before I get my money back. Not happy that I'll probably be waiting a month for that. I'd give Bluu 5 stars, but none for UPS logistics in this case. - - - - - - I purchased a Bluu umbrella because I thought it would be the sturdiest brand for my rather windy back yard. This was a piece of cake to assemble. We also bought the four-piece base for it and filled it with sand. The base is a bit larger than we'd like, but we understand that you need a pretty substantial counterweight for the umbrella. The umbrella requires only one hand to operate. Controls are well thought out and simple. It's easy to pivot around to put the shade where you want it as the sun moves across the sky. So I can’t take credit for the assembly, but my son had it assembled in about 20 minutes. I’m so happy with the coverage area and the ease of operation. I bought all new patio furniture when I downsized, but the sun on my patio is brutal. This umbrella is allowing me to sit and read in shade at any time of day. It’s well made and sturdy. I’m still waiting for the Bluu base to arrive and I need to order an umbrella cover. Would be 5 stars if not for shipping issues. Product arrived with very torn up box. There are a few dents on the mast which aren’t visible with the positioning of umbrella in our yard. Didn’t want to risk continued back and forth with exchanges also being damaged. Packaging needs vast improvement! Umbrella itself is great. Looks perfect in the yard and is super easy to operate.
