The material is perfect. Hasn’t faded at all, and I’ve had it for 3 months now. When the wind kicks up, as I’m not far from the beach, I close it. The light bars are really nice, and work perfectly. The pole, crank, and switch are sturdy. Honestly, I don’t think you’ll find a better one like this out there. Worth every dime. PLUS!!! You get a surprise. And it’s a GOOD surprise 🏖 Except, I can’t find my certificate to get my surprise 🤦♀️ So, get your beautiful umbrella, and don’t lose your surprise

⭐️UPDATE⭐️: BLUU customer service is amazing!!! I had concerns over the quality of the new umbrellas I had bought, as they weren’t consistent with BLUU umbrellas I had bought in the past. BLUU reached out to me right away to rectify the situation. It is hard to come by companies that actually stand behind their product and go above and beyond to ensure their customers satisfaction. Despite the issues that I had with this one purchase, the quality of these umbrellas is superior to any other brand that I had bought in the past, and the LED rib strip lights are such an upgrade over the singular circle strip lights from most brands. I would highly recommend this company and this product. Original review: I have bought 4 of these BLUU umbrellas over the last several years. The first one I purchased for my deck was great! The color (navy) was spot on, the LED strips worked great and the Velcro closure straps were strong and held the umbrella closed. The color of the second one, again navy, was different from the first umbrella I purchased, but all the features worked the same. After a couple of seasons I had to replace both of the umbrellas; the first one I purchased was damaged from a strong random wind storm, which is no fault of the umbrella/Bluu. However, the second one had to be replaced because some of the LED strips started to dim, flicker or fail altogether. I just recently purchased 2 new ones, both in navy, and sadly again the colors are not the same as the original one I purchased. The biggest disappointment though is that the ties no longer have Velcro, which was one of the features that drew me to this particular umbrella in the first place! The straps are also quite short to be tied in any manner to efficiently keep the umbrella closed unless you pull and knot them so tightly making it difficult to untie, especially after it rains. The fabric is also different from the original one I purchased. I gave these new umbrellas 2 stars because: 1. The LED lights are currently working and 2. The umbrella itself is heavy and very sturdy. Aside from these points, I am disappointed with this purchase and wish that the umbrellas were identical to the original one I purchased a couple of years ago.

Well I have had this a little over a year and one of the ribs broke. I contacted customer service and sent them some pictures. They sent me a brand new umbrella. It was out of warranty by a month. Great customer service. This is also a great umbrella. Mine has been outside 1 year with no fade at all. Royal blue color. I would purchase again

Edit: Bluu’s customer service was fantastic: quick, polite, helpful. They made it right and sent me a replacement. We haven’t used the new one due to daily storms this summer, but I’m hopeful this will last longer. I’ll start by saying that I have another Bluu umbrella and base and love them. I purchased this product thinking it would be the same quality, but it’s completely different in terms of fabric, design and quality. I had this umbrella for one week when the solar panel became detached from the top. We thought it would be an easy fix; however, even with two people it’s extremely difficult to get the arms in the correct place while replacing the solar panel wires. We were unable to fix it and now have an unusable umbrella. Another more minor issue is that the fabric is different than advertised. It’s listed as Olefin fabric which is what I wanted, but the product I received actually is made from Outtra fabric. It has a more shiny quality than my other Olefin Bluu umbrella and looks less classy, in my opinion. The only positive comment I have is that the LED light quality was wonderful for the days that it worked. It emits a warm glow type of light that’s pretty at night, not the bright quality that some of the review pictures show. I’ve heard great things about Bluu customer service and have reached out to see what resolution they suggest, and will update my review if they contact me.

Easy installation! Lights are perfect in the evening! Bought 9.5 for 8x10 porch, little overhang but so worth the price point. Friends found same at B&B in Sarasota and told me . Fabric and stitching are inpeciable! Love the fact of a higher UV protection, I fight skin cancer daily. Could not be more encouraging about this umbrella. Treat yourselves!!!

The lights on the umbrella look amazing. The fabric canopy seems to be of a decent quality. We will see how it holds up after some time, but I am initially impressed with the umbrella in the short time we’ve had it up. Edit- the umbrella snapped near the adjustable joint about 9 months after purchasing. I reached out to customer support and the offered to replace it, but the non-light version. That was not satisfactory to me as the light version was what we needed. The representative than offered a full refund which was great. The product seems like it’s high quality, but was kinda upset after it broke non even a year after use- that’s including storing it in our garage for the winter months. But their support was great so I’ll give ‘em 5 stars.
