I’ve tried most other types of non-stick skillets and in most cases they quickly lose their non-stick properties. (The copper things were the worst!) I’ve been using the 10-inch version of the Blue Diamond ware for almost a year and the skillet quickly cleans up with plain hot water, even if it has been left overnight after use. A quick swipe with a paper towel and it’s like new. after a few weeks of use I see that this smaller version is just the same. I baby my skillets so no metal utensils are used with them, although the claim is that they can take it. I also watch the heat levels and limit them to medium high heat. The bottom stays flat when heated and the heat transfer with these is so good there’s no need to have it higher. I save the high setting for my cast iron. This was money well spent and I’m now a "happy cooker."

Even with nonstick it is important to add a bit of oil or butter ( not nonstick spray) before adding the rest of the ingredients. I'd heard this from numerous sources before buying this pan and have found it to be true. Cleans up great. The underside of the pan tends to retain stains even with scrubbing but the inside and out that is coated smoothly cleans easily. Heats evenly! Goes in the dishwasher. I use silicone tools only to preserve coating. Have used it regularly for several months. Happy!!!

This pan is a winner. I wanted a cool looking hex pan but this can't be beat. I can sear in it and nothing sticks. I do use avocado oil spray. Medium or slightly lower heat is all you need, give it a couple minutes to heat up and you're good to go. Cleaning couldn't be easier. Definitely recommend. UPDATE: A few months later and I'm looking for a new pan. This one has lost its nonstickiness. It's a huge pain in the butt to clean. I have to boil water in it to loosen up stuck on food. It has permanent darkened areas on it. Skip this one! Update 2: This pan is headed for the trash. See photo. It's no longer non stick. In fact it's very sticky! Lint from dishcloth sticks to it when drying it. Trash. Invest a few more $$$ and get something higher quality.

These are nice looking pans, and I really like them. The nonstick is good, but it’s just not the slippery nonstick that you see in the advertisement. In the advertisement, they put a blender onto the pan and say, “no scratches!“ However, I was using plastic Spatulas and you could see small scratches on the pan when I was not expecting to see any at all! Still, it’s a nice pan, especially for the price. I mean, come on, they’re cheap!

I have the 8" version of this which _is_ induction compatible, but the 9.5" version I ordered is not. If you don't have an induction cooktop, I'd assume the 9.5" is a good pan since the 8" works very well for me.

This is a pan that has an unbelievable cooking surface that nothing sticks. It is simple to clean and does not require cooking sprays or muscle to clean. The problem is that I purchased this to work with my new GE Profile Induction Range and I cannot get this pan to work on any of the elements. Apparently, the iron content of the base is inadequate for the induction process to take place. It is a shame, because the pan is a dream to use for cooking. I have had to use it on a conventional electric range that we have in our basement, but I have to purchase something that works for our main kitchen,.
