  • Great non-stick pan
Size: 12" Frying Pan Skillet Color: Blue
Good quality non-stick frying pan. I hand wash it and my prior pan lasted for many years before things started sticking. The finish was still intact but food started sticking. I recommend this pan and hand washing it.

  • Worth the care you have to take Worth the care you have to take
Size: 10" Frying Pan Skillet Color: Blue
It's been just over a week and I have been using this pan every morning for breakfast. So far, it's pretty impressive. I do have some general ideas about non-stick pans in this price range: I don't expect them to last for years and years (even with the best care); I know I have to baby them a bit; I know that I cannot cook with them at very high heat. PROS: -- Right out of the packaging, the pan looks nice and sturdy. -- It seems to be a bit tougher than other nonstick pans when it comes to using and cleaning. -- It does heat up quickly. -- I was able to make good pancakes in it & my scrambled eggs just slid right out! (By the way, I noticed that the only pancakes that stuck a bit were made with batter higher in sugar content or when I hadn't cleaned the pan well.) -- I don't have the "hot handle" problem I see mentioned in other reviews. I do use the pan on a burner a tiny bit smaller than the bottom of the pan & I think that helps. -- Cleaning it is easy. All I have to do is let the pan cool first. When I am cooking something like pancakes, I can remove stray batter with a silicone spatula. I use a little soap and hot water to get all the residue out. CONS: I was immediately confused by the instructions. The front of the cardboard covers says this is safe for ovens & is "high heat resistant", but elsewhere, it's advised to use low-to-medium heat. This is why I hate the packaging. All the info is on the cardboard that the pan in tucked into. I like to save product info so this is inconvenient. -- Like with most non-stick pans, there are restrictions - ex: no EVOO; and don't heat when empty, etc. Some of these are worse than others. For instance, when fixing anything with a batter (ex: pancakes), I like to heat a pan fairly well before pouring in the batter. However, this pan heats up fast so I can pour in batter without much pre-heating. -- I don't think I will be using this to do any oil-frying because I don't want to use high heat. Also, I won't be large amounts of liquids (water) since it would be easy to let it boil to dry & damage the coating. -- Some of the things hyped about this are not really good for the pans. Says you can use metal utensils but that really isn't advised. The same thing goes for being dishwasher safe. To make the pan last as long as possible, I handwash/dry & keep a soft cloth in the pan when it's stored. Anything to keep from damaging the non-stick surface! -- Although I have a regular gas stove, the instructions for induction cooktops are pretty extensive & I don't know that I would want the extra work. -- For the best info on using, cleaning, and storing this pan, I had to go online. I wish they'd included a paper printout of info instead of my having to try to read that cardboard packaging. Overall, I don't mind the negatives too much because I know to be careful of ALL my nonstick pans. The one negative that bugs me the most is the "don't heat when empty" rule. I do like the pan a lot right now. If it lasts me a few years, I will be happy with it. I do have cheaper pans that are just as good. This one is a really good value though. Basically, the things that make a non-stick pan so good also mean there are drawbacks. This pan proves you don't have to spend a fortune on a decent piece of non-stick cookware. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Size: 12" Frying Pan Skillet Color: Blue
It's okay. Easy to clean. Food still sticks in spots. The pan that I received is not truly flat. It's slightly raised in the middle so heating is uneven and the pan spins on the cook top. My guess is that it is a manufacturing defect.

I had to move and needed to rebuild a lot of things. This little guy has gotten me through a lot. I have had it for almost a year now and no scratches. Every day use. Cleans very easily and cooks evenly

  • Quickly Looses Non Stick Quality Quickly Looses Non Stick Quality
Size: 10" Frying Pan Skillet Color: Blue
I received the item May 3rd and I am writing this review 1 month later on June 1st. I purchased primarily to avoid the hassle of using my stainless steel and cast iron pans, especially when cooking scrambled eggs or trying to crisp things up like pasta and rice. Often these are what get really stuck on my pans, but otherwise I do a pretty good job of keeping my stuff non-stick with good technique. It worked incredibly well and as expected for the first few days/couple weeks. I even thought I was crazy for not switching sooner. I don’t use it for anything crazy, mostly eggs as mentioned. I only use silicone spatulas or occasionally wood; I never use utensils or any metal even though it’s advertised as metal safe. I use olive oil and never had an issue with burning oil. This is all to give context that I am likely a very good user compared to most, at least compared to friends and family I’ve had the pleasure of sharing nonstick pans with. The pan is advertised as dishwasher safe, however, except one time, I have pretty much only hand washed the pan and do not use any abrasive cleaners or brushes. Unfortunately, the non stick did not last and quickly faded. I assume that sadly I ingested it. I have a glass cook top and it seems that the center is the part most affected. I will attempt to return as it does not work as advertised. I hope others have better experiences but please be warned, after being careful with use, it has worse non stick qualities than cast iron, glass and stainless steel pans i own. The image/video is after using oil to cook sausage, it got stuck, and the egg got stuck on it after. This would not happen in my stainless steel. ... show more

  • Lives up to the hype. My new kitchen friend.
Size: 12" Frying Pan Skillet Color: Blue
Some years ago I bought an OXO 12" nonstick (likely teflon) pan with lid that I used every day, three times a day usually, and I took care of it. After five years the surface finally started show signs of wear so I needed to replace but couldn't. The OXO non-toxic replacement was carbon steel and this was a disaster. I tried my MasterChef2 stainless steel to fry eggs and it would work but you had to get the temperature just right and oil had to be just so. A friend gave me an Our Place ceramic and this is what I've been dealing with. It's ok. I was just about ready to invest in one of the titanium dealies at nearly $200 a pop when I saw a video for this pan. I'm glad I did. Water and oil bead on the surface. Tonight it passed the final test: fried rice. Just perfect. My only wish would be that the sides were higher. They do sell pans like that and maybe I should have gotten it. I think I'm going to replace my wok. I don't expect this product to last as long as my AllClad but at this price point I'm fine buying a new one every few years or so. ... show more
