This little Blink camera works great! I purchased it for our guest room because when our grown kids visit with the new baby they need to see baby while sleeping and we are in another room. This allows them to feel good about visiting and knowing they can keep an eye on baby. Video quality is great, even at night in the dark room. Notifications are easily set up and the design of it is good as it is small and can be attached or free standing. I did get a low cost subscription so we can use it any time or anywhere.

I bought two of these cameras and I’m really impressed with how versatile they are. One is set up in the living room, paired with my Blink Doorbell, and it acts as a chime. This is honestly my favorite feature, it works perfectly and makes sure I never miss someone at the door. It also doubles as a security camera when I’m not home, so it pulls double duty without taking up much space. The second one I installed in the garage for general surveillance. I often work on my bike out there, and sometimes I don’t hear the doorbell when deliveries arrive or friends stop by. Now the garage camera chimes when someone presses the doorbell, which is incredibly convenient. I love that both cameras serve as reliable chimes and functional security cameras. As a camera, the Blink Mini 2 performs really well for the price. The picture is clear, the field of view is wide, and the compact design makes it barely noticeable. Overall, I’m really happy with these and would definitely recommend them if you’re already in the Blink ecosystem or looking for affordable indoor cameras with bonus features.

Used the trial and it was nice to go back and look at previous videos, but we don’t need the subscription. Easy to set up and use. Minimal lag. We didn’t need to mount this, just use on the tv stand. Gives nice coverage for where our dogs sleep during the day, so checking in on them is easy. I’ve even used it to alert me when my hubby comes home at lunch to let the dogs out. I can pop on and say hi! Audio and camera quality are decent. Has a light, but it works well in lower light if needed.

Bought this camera to keep an eye on my cat. Pros: The camera is durable and made very well. The video quality is decent. The view is very wide angle. And at $20 it was a steal. Cons: (1) Decrease in functionality once free premium subscription was over. (2) Extended live view is only 5 mins without subscription. (3) Subscription required for recording (1) Other people wrote about this, so I ended the free subscription to see if the camera is worth keeping. The camera did in fact have a loading issue once the subscription was over. Where before the camera opened instantaneously, now it takes 2 to 3 seconds of load time before it opens. I definitely felt the difference enough to warrant buying a Kasa camera (where you don't need to have a subscription for live extended view) and compare. (Note: KASA also as a lag time of 2 to 4 seconds, so not worth the change on that). (2) IF you have raucous pets or kids or need to keep an eye out on an elderly parent for longer than 5 mins at a time then this camera is NOT for you -- unless you're okay with buying a subscription for extended live view. Basic is $30 a year, and premium is over a $100. (3). If the desire is to use this for a security camera you will need a subscription. I don't need this feature for my cat. Conclusion: It's a great camera for what it can do overall. It's built very nice, and it has some weight to it. It doesn't feel cheap at all. It also connected easily and quickly to my duel wi-fi (5 ghz and 2.5 ghz). For me, I bought this camera to keep an eye out on my cat. She's pretty calm. I only check up on her a few times a day for a few seconds at a time. I don't watch her for a minute. Without a subscription, hitting the continue button every 60 seconds is not an issue for my needs. Without a plan you get only 5 mins of continuous extended view. However, all you have to do is close the view and then hit play again and you get 5 more minutes. It's that simple. If I were going out of town, I would likely buy the subscription for a month so I could keep it on for longer than 5 mins and to record video for security purposes.

The alerts are always on time and I love the light, recording, and sound features on the camera. Video quality is clear and not fuzzy. It connects straight to the Blink app on your phone. It was an easy set up to do and I had no problem subscribing to the app and it was very cheap to do so.

I already have like 5 blink cameras needed this one for another view in the house, it was so easy and so simple to set up and connectivity was fast, the design is sleek and nice all white, the quality is really nice and durable you can mount it of you want i set my up on my bookshelf. The camera gives a really nice view and angle it covers the whole room and then some. I got it on prime day so it was half off so even more amazing for the money.

Using this camera to check on dog when not home and family member with Alzheimer’s. It does good during daylight hours and is pretty sensitive to movement. Not sure if it’s the camera or our house but at night it’s set of occasionally by the cats and orbs? and it has glitches where half of the screen is completely black and half showing room. It seems like it is trying to figure out which lighting to use? Overall it gets everything in daylight and nighttime is questionable with our camera. It doesn’t bother us enough to warrant a refund.
