I already use these cameras and so of course this one works the same as my others. This is just an add-on. These indoor models are nice as they are small and inconspicuous. The camera quality is good. Much better than the Echo Show camera quality that I purchased with this. It does what I need it to do. The notifications are a little slow on these blink cameras ( indoor and outdoor) compared to my much older SmartCam. It connected very easily with the Echo Show as did my existing Blink cameras. Packaging is very nice and instructions included are okay. I did have to use YouTube with my first cameras but no problem, I find I have to do that with most new devices I purchase anyway. I think my only real negative for these cameras, compared to my old SmartCam, is they do not track. I know you can buy an add on to move the camera through the app but having auto tracking is a really nice feature and the reason I keep my old camera. ... show more

First of all, the Blink is great. It took 5 seconds to set up (just plug and go), the picture is super clear, and when I log in from the app I connect instantly. And the audio works, as explained more fully below. Thus, the item itself is awesome. However, I bought the Blink thinking that I could watch to see when my puppy jumps on my bed, and through the audio feature, I’d tell her to get off and she would. Dog had (and has) other plans. Set Blink up this morning with clear view of bed and as soon as I saw puppy was on it, I hit the mic button and instructed her to get down. About 5 times. All dog did was look up with curiosity to see where this sound was coming from. As far as I can tell, she ignored me, went back to sleep, and hasn’t moved in hours, as accompanying pics establish.
