These cameras are incredible! We have had 3 Blink Outdoor 4 cameras for over a year now and they reach about 200 feet from our house with the regular sync module. I decided to purchase two more with the XR Sync Module to see if they would work at the distances advertised. I have to say I’m blown away by their performance on XR+. They are well worth it for us even with XR+ having a saver option as the only selectable video quality and no use of the microphones. I installed one at our gate which is 532’ from our house where the sync module is plugged in and one at our barn which is 295’ away through a lot of trees. They were super easy to install. There is a XR option that allows standard HD video quality but ours had to be on the XR+ option to connect at the distance I placed them but they still show 2 bars of connectivity to the sync module so I could probably go even further with them if I needed to. Both cameras pick up motion well both day and night and the video quality is pretty good for being in saver mode. I still can’t believe they work so far away and it’s nice to have extra security on our acreage. Now I know when I have packages or mail delivered or if something is in our barn that shouldn’t be such as coyotes or bobcats. I’m always checking them and the batteries are still going strong. I wanted to purchase 2 more cameras with the XR module but there was a limit of one purchase because of the Prime Day deal. I will definitely be purchasing them again next year because there are other spots I’d like to put cameras up that are further away than the regular sync module can handle. I’ll attach pictures to show how far they are from our house and some of the night and day image quality. I used the measure tool on Google Earth for measurements. I highly recommend them!

These are exterior cameras that we used to expand our existing Blink home security camera system for views of our front and back yards. The cameras are easy to mount and deliver good-quality images both day and night. Adding them to our sync module network was easy, and connecting them to the same network as the Blink sync module allows us to record/save video clips Considering what other bullet-style home security camera systems cost, these cameras are a great option and less painful on the wallet.

Setting up the sync unit along with the cameras seemed relatively easy. It's not as nice as an Apple experience, and will take a small amount of patience, but overall it's not too bad. The mounting the cameras was straight forward. The use of batteries seemed helpful - just pop in the batteries and away you go. I didn't test push the limits on the distance for the XR sync, but I would say the furthest camera is about at 50 ft and that wasn't an issue. The people only notification was a nice surprise and has eliminated some the trees blowing in the wind, etc. Nice to have in future models: 1. Facial recognition with designating my face and my wife's face as known and non-triggering of the video camera. 2. Web access to the videos stored in the cloud, not just the app. (I could program this up in no time!) 3. A simple physical on/off switch for those moments that you just want them off.

This things have a great picture, even in the dark. I'm still in the learning curve phase, but they were super simple to install and "program". Truly plug and play if you read and position well. Hardest part was figuring out where to place them. They are really sensitive to motion, lots of tree branch videos, but we're getting that figured out. Not sure if I'll keep the app, but it's not required with this particular model. Might though as it has some handy features and is affordable. Downside is they are slow to start recording, even at higher sensitivity. By the time they start recording a car on the street all you see is tail lights if it's driving the speed limit, and nothing if going faster. Speed limit on my street is 25 mph. People are half way up my drive when walking or a car is fully parked in the drive before recording kicks on. But that may be more on how I've set them up. Time will tell. Over all I'm pleased. My non-compliant Amazon drivers? Not so much.

I was extremely surprised on how well these cameras work. I have had Ring cameras for over 10 years and have always had issues with them recording outside motion. I installed 9 Blink cameras with no issues. The app is user friendly and I have had no issues with motion detection. Even though Amazon owns Blink and Ring, the Blink cameras are the choice to go with.

These are great cameras. The picture is clear and catches a wide angle view. The app is very user friendly. These are outside our home. I also ordered the outside holders which make outside installation seamless. We just put them up yesterday so I can update later, but for now I am very happy.
