I recently purchased the AOSU 4-Cam Solar Security System and I am extremely impressed. The setup was very straightforward — everything connected quickly to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi without any issues. I had all four cameras mounted and running in under an hour. The 2K video quality is very clear, both during the day and at night. The color night vision works surprisingly well, and I can clearly see faces and details around my yard and driveway. Great product. Really impressed with ease of set up and function of app. Range on these cameras is excellent. I have one that is 300+ feet from base and it functions flawlessly. Solar works better than expected. All cameras remain at 100% even in winter when days are shorter. I have 12 of these cameras and all have worked great. Recently I had issues with one connecting to the base. After several attempts to reconnect with no success I contacted support. Their quick response was impressive and after review of my issue they quickly shipped a replacement for the non-functioning camera. Response, review and resolution where all handled in a matter of hours via email. You simply can't beat this response time. I have recommended these cameras to several friends and neighbors who have purchased and are equally impressed. These AOSU cameras are awesome! They’re super reliable, charge really quick and are easy to install. The app is also easy to use/ navigate. The cameras have awesome features like a speaker for talking, sirens, night vision and a bright spotlight. The customer service was also very helpful! I was helped by Lynette and she helped fix a problem with one of my mounting brackets. Overall they are awesome cameras with very attentive customer support. Giving this a four star because this model does NOT have a setting to block certain areas of view. I'm getting all the cars on the road and unless it is angled down further, I'm afraid we'll have to live with it. The second camera would not pick up motion or track unless we were almost under it. Not sure if it needs to be returned. Have adjusted settings and still the same. Would be nice to have explanation in manual of the icons. The alert sets off an alarm, not your motion notifications. The scissors do not cut off any of the view to eliminate unneeded recording areas, but adds a snapshot to your phone's photo album! Pictures are clear, although we haven't had a night recording yet, so can't judge that. ... show more

We’ve been very happy with the ease of set up and the performance of this system. Basically set it up and it takes care of itself. No charging, no maintenance, no monthly fees, it just flat out works really well. Initially when setting it up, I had a slight issue with signal strength with one camera on the far side of our home. The problem wasn’t with the cameras, it because I needed to position a WiFi range extender and I just had a quick question. I called Aosu and they picked right up and answered my question no problem. A year later I typed in a no rush tech question via their online form and they literally responded in a couple of hours with a very polite and respectful response. I was expecting a day or two not within hours. Wow! Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased with both the camera system and the company’s excellent support. ... show more
