The security camera is great. Everything is packed well and all the mounting hardware is included along with the charging cable and USB cables. Installation is very straightforward. It's nice that the solar panels are integrated into the camera housing. Make sure that the direction of the solar panels gets sunlight. It would be great if the solar panel orientation can be adjusted but it's fixed. The image quality is great and details can be seen. The PTZ control is very easy to use as seen in the attached picture. The app allows you to see the battery charge and shows you when the camera is being charged by the solar panels. The signal strength is also very good and the low light image quality is awesome! This is a great all-in-one system! The Aosu app is very easy to use and feature rich. I had this installed in an area that gets a lot of sunlight so I anticipate the cameras to always be fully charged and so far I haven't had any issues. ... show more

I bought this for our second home and the cameras were easy to install and set up the server unit. They work really well and the solar charging a great as we are away for months . The siren and speaking feature is great as well and you do not need a subscription if you do not want it. ASOU camera review: When I wanted to install a security camera system, there were 2 requirements that I needed: (1) it had to be solar unconnected via Wi-Fi, because there were no outlets close to the cameras, and I did not want to engage an electrician at a very high cost to hardwire the cameras; and (2) I needed an NVD (called a HomeBase) to record events so that I would have the ability to capture an image of anybody prowling on the property. I selected the ASOU solar-powered camera kit becauseit met these requirements, and because of its many features and excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. The camera system was very easy to install by following the directions on the ASOU app on my iPhone. When I placed the cameras on the exterior of the house, the cameras did a very good job of tracking objects and people, and it was very easy to take a snapshot of an image which went directly to my photos app. There are so many features that I cannot begin to talk about, but I found that the cameras do everything that I asked them to provide me with the most security that I could hope to accomplish. One other bright aspect of purchasing an ASOU security camera kit is the customer support. I have needed to contact customer support on several occasions, and each time I was put together with a representative within 2 minutes, and each time all my issues were resolved. I have been an Amazon customer for over 12 years, and I rarely make a review. This item was an exception! For the cost, I don’t think I would ever find a camera system that would have all of the features that I require and more without having to engage a security system service, which typically requires you to pay a monthly fee for 7/24 monitoring. The cameras are very good. The quality of the camera video is very good for the price you pay and so far the cameras being able to have battery from the solar panels is great. Very easy set up and User friendly. Just wish that when they would move with the motion they would return back to the original position I would like them in. I’ll find myself getting on the APP and having to re-adjust the cameras. Sometimes it skips or doesn’t catch motion on one camera but catches it on another. Also having to pay for each cameras cloud individually instead of the household being able to bundle the cameras for a cheaper price, As I wasn’t able to apply the 30% off discount in my first year cloud storage subscription. I do like it. Hopefully the little minor things change and it continues to become better! For the Price I paid definitely can’t really complain much! Does the job I want! ... show more

These outdoor solar security cameras were easy to setup and install but the best part was that they work as designed. The picture quality is very high day or night and the recording of movement is perfect. I bought 3 and my neighbors were so impressed that they also purchased them. We are covered!!!

For starters some of these cameras need a hub that connects to your wifi router and some do not. There is not any info on this at the time of writing this review. The website needs work from the manufacture.... Customer support is over a fuzzy non clear IP phone that is dismal at best. However the people are nice and that is appreciated. Thanks for trying your best with a horrible connection = ) The first person had no clue and said I needed a hub to run the cameras. Now I am being told I do not and that some are stand alone cameras that pair to wifi without the hub. Sheeesh. So I am returning all the 2k cameras and getting 3K "hubless" if you will ...cameras. these will pair to the wifi router without needing a hub. The 3k with lights that is hard wired with no solar panel is very good that's over m garage door. I dig it. . I will now be installing the 3k Solar powered (with a wire going from the camera to the solar panel. not your home grid.) for identification purposes... These allow positioning in best choice location and solar panel where the camera may not be in an advantageous position to gather sunlight. Best set up... and 3k is a Big difference. App is good. No drama. No way I am paying $50 per ring doorbell annually when I can have these with no subscription. They are VPN friendly and tremendously better...Hope this helps a bit. ... show more
