I was searching for a nonstick thick gauge pot for making Indian sweets, which are made with thickened milk ( almost like a milk fudge) milk is very easy to stick with most pots and pans I was unable to find suitable pot. I have been using nonstick pots which mostly contain teflon coating and are made of Aluminum, so I wanted something made of either cast iron or cast steel. Inloked into cast iron options but either too heavy or cleaning can be difficult or needs a lot of care.! So I opted out for cast iron option. Then I found this amazing pot which made of cast steel and the coating is nontoxic. So I decided to give it a try. Once I ordered it, the delivery was prompt. Tge packing was beautifully done.! When I opened the package I fell in love with this beautiful pot.! It is one the best of it's kind! It has a very good weight to feel but not too heavy like a cast iron.! It is beautifully enameled with a nontoxic ceramic material.! It has a beautiful color, both inside and out.! I already tried to see if it serves the purpose I bought for and I am thrilled to announce that yes it exceed all my expectations.! The milk cooks on a slow flame without sticking to the bottom and it gets thicker quicker than the pots I have been using.!!!!! Cleaning the pot is super easy too. Just soak in water for a few minutes and wash with dish soap. Doesn't need any scrubbing or hard work.! I really appreciate this manufacturer for their amazing creation of cookware. I really liked it very much and I can say this is made for generations to last.!! Truly amazing and I can strongly recommend others. It is a worthwhile investment for your and probably for the next generation too.!!!

I bought this Dutch Oven to bake no knead bread. At first I was worried that because it wasn’t as thick and heavy as my smaller cast iron Dutch oven, I thought the bread wouldn’t bake as nicely but boy was I wrong! The bread came out beautifully and it has faster heat transfer than my cast iron or All Clad stainless pots. I have ditched my spaghetti stainless pot for this one which heats to boiling in half the time!! The Dutch oven is gorgeous and is definitely my go to pot for the even and quick heating. It is also a dream to clean!

Beautiful pot! I have the larger one for bread and this size is perfect for soup/stews. Browns the onions and garlic nicely. Cleans well and sturdy but not heavy as other brands.

Love this for baking bread in. No problems with it. Read instructions on cleaning and make sure it is completely dry before you put it away. Especially around the bottom edge of the lid!

I just got my BK Dutch oven, 5.5 Quart and in the beautiful blue color. I have not used it yet but i did do the initial wash in warm soapy water per the BK handbook and the paint on one of the handles literally chipped as I was just holding it preparing to dry it off. I expect a heck of a lot more for my $159 from a pot. My rating may go up or down depending on the response I get from the BK company, which I already called and left a message. But for now it gets 2 stars for overall rating and definitely for the value.

I gave this Dutch oven to my wife for Christmas, despite repeated warnings not to get her anything for the kitchen! Instead of hitting me over the head with the pot, she remarked how elegant it looked. She loves how it looks, and she loves how it works. It seems much harder to burn food cooked in this pot, and the food gets evenly heated. All in all, my wife, the one who works her magic in the kitchen, is very glad to have this additions to her cooking tools.

Used this on my Duxtop Inducuction burner to make bonebroth simmered 2 hours. No metalic taste such as I was getting with cast iron and teflon aluminum cookware. I was so pleased that I tried it to stirfry and reheat foods. No burning issues like I was getting with my aluminum. This does not seem to dehydrate and overheat then burn foods. It does slide easily on the glasstop. It is designed to be used in the oven. I have not used it in the oven yet. The 3.5 quart would fit a whole chicken.
