Although the instructions recommend three people for assembly, I managed to build it solo in about five hours using only the included tools. With power tools, I imagine it would’ve gone even faster. The equipment feels high quality, with clean lines and a solid design. There’s a slight wobble during bench or squat exercises, but nothing major. For the price, I’d definitely recommend it—especially if you’re working with limited space. I also purchased a few add-ons from the same company, and everything’s been great so far. FYI: The hardware and fasteners for this are EXACT to what is needed. Do not loose a piece, in the end they should ALL be used and there are no extras of anything. ... show more

    • Solid frame but complicated folding process
It might seem like I'm griping about the smallest thing so I'll get that out of the way first. The way the bench folds is too complicated to be useful. It doesn't happen fast enough where I'll reliably put it away each time so unfortunately, it's going to stay out and in the way until we have guests when my wife asks me to hide it. You have to flip the whole bench over (soft side on the ground), pull out three pins, fold the legs and rails in a specific manner, and then reinsert the pins. To use it again, you have to reverse it all. It'd be much better if it could just be one pin maybe. Nevertheless, the good things about it are the instructions for assembly were clear and concise. There aren't many words and is all diagrams so if you're a visual person like I am, assembly will be a breeze. It feels sturdy. I'm 6'6" and 210lbs and it supports me with some dumbbells with ease. It slides a bit on on hardwood but nothing some mats can't help fix. The range of motion of the different inclines/declines is nice and easy adjustable even from a sitting position. No longer do I need to stand up from my set, pull a pin, adjust the backrest, and reinsert the pin. All in all for a simple weight bench, this hits the mark. ... show more

    • A sturdy budget bench that works great
So far, I really like this workout bench. Let's start with assembly...it came with real instructions, with clear diagrams that were actually correct. Assembly was pretty easy, and it comes with all the tools needed. in use, it's plenty stable, even when using it on carpet. The feet are wide enough that I never feel like its' going to tip over. The back is pretty sturdy even under hard use. While I was initially skeptical of the tilt mechanism and latching (there isn't really a latch at all), it works well and i've had no trouble with it shifting on me while in use. Basically, it works great and doesn't have any durability issues so far. The only downside (and it's a minor one) is that folding situation. Folding it up requires removing multiple pins for the legs to collapse and the bench to fold. It works fine, but it's a bit cumbersome compared to some other models I've seen with spring-loaded latches. So, I really think this bench is best left out. If you need to fold it it will of course fold, but I certainly wouldn't want to do it every day. Maybe once a week would be fine. I'll still give it 5 stars though. it works great, is durable enough, very stable, and priced well. ... show more
