I bought this machine because my Hoover carpet cleaner was on it’s last legs and I wanted something that had steam capabilities for a deeper clean. This machine not only got a deeper clean, but it’s pretty much a better machine in every way. It’s suction is far more powerful and extracts the carpet much better. It also gets the carpet fairly hot and leaves it far cleaner than before. The best part is how easy it is to clean the machine, it comes apart very easily with not to many small parts. The only issue is that it’s fairly heavy and the steam mode does use a lot more water than just water alone. Hopefully this machine lasts because right now it’s incredible! ... show more

I had a Hoover Steamvac with SpinScrub that parts are hard to get now, and it really was a pain to clean. It really did not do a very good job either, with new models being much better I ordered a new one. I picked the BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner Model 3432. As I have dogs, a saint Bernard and a Rottweiler, hair is a real problem for any carpet cleaner. But this model makes getting hair out of the machine so easy and very little even gets into the tank, so the PET model is just a must. The steam function really works; this is no joke like the Hoover Steamvac that only warmed the water. The steam really breaks up stuff deep in the carpet, it heats the water to steam very fast, in under a minute. The three modes are easy to set and use by pushing a button and the three indicators let you know what mode you are in. All you need to do is push and pull the machine around and use the trigger button when you want to use whatever mode you are in. The solution tank is so easy to fill and use, and even the waste tant is easy to clean and install. This thing is just so easy to clean, I am so impressed at these improvements. All things combined make this carpet cleaner a good value for its ease of use and cleanup, let alone on how well it cleans a carpet. I am very happy with this unit and so glad I spent the extra money for this model. ... show more

While I haven't used many carpet shampooers in the past, this on does the job nicely! It is easy to setup and use! The hand attachments work as well. There is a lot of suction, which think is necessary for removal of the materials from the floor. It really pulls dirt out! A lot of times I'll use only hot water in high traffic areas for a quick pickup and it still cleans! We've loaned it to others and they've been impressed. It's not horrible loud, easy to dump and clean out. I definitely recommend this one! ... show more

    • Hands-down, the best carpet shampooer I’ve ever owned.

If you’re like me, you like to keep your area, rugs, and your carpets beautiful and clean. I have a dog who tends to bring in muddy messes. Over the years I have bought a few different carpet shampooers, and only one of them probably worked the best at the time because it had a rinse cycle without having to switch to a clean water tank. Well, that machine didn’t last more than two years. I then bought another one. I think was a Bissell pet pro heat and I gotta tell you, it never pulled out the dirt out of my carpet, no matter how many times I went over it, it remained dirty. I almost threw away my very expensive area rug until I bought this carpet shampooer. I was at the point that I didn’t even care how much money I had to spend to buy a carpet shampooer, as long as I can find something that actually does what it’s supposed to do. Well, it took me a minute to really figure out how to use it correctly to get the best results, And this is by far the best investment I’ve ever made in a carpet shampooer EVER!!!! Ok 1st thing, the pre-stain steaming function works perfect. 2nd thing, the shampoo/heat drying function working together at the same time is brilliant!! 3rd thing, the steam dry works way better than I thought it would. When you use it correctly, it says it will dry in 30 minutes, well it did exactly that. Let’s not forget to mention one of the most things you need to have in shampooer, the strength and power of the suction feature to pull out the water and dirt. Well I cannot believe how much more dirty water this machine was pulling up out of my carpet!! It pulled up stains up that I thought would never ever come out because it never did with two other carpet shampooers. The shampooer is a dream, and it cleans your carpets just like a professional would. I invested a lot of money in rebuilding my home and I want to keep it beautiful and clean and the only way that I can do that is by investing in products like this that will far surpass any of my expectations and is the best buck for your bang. So don’t worry about how much it cost, think about how much it’ll cost you later on down the road when you have to keep replacing those carpets in area rugs when you don’t purchase this product.
