This machine is a workhorse that will also give you a workout! The best feature is the presteam mode that really helps loosen old grime and dried urine. Then going into the steamwash mode thoroughy cleans and sucks up everything that doesn't belong in the carpet. The quick dry is also a great feature if you need to put furniture back into place. I am so glad I saw this machine. My last machine was a Hoover Steamvac - I just retired it because it has never performed like this Bissell. And it is easy to fill, empty and clean. This machine is far better than the original Revolution models. The only real downside is the noise but I am getting used to that. The pedal is also hard to press down but workable. Fir three years, I cleaned up messes every day for a 15 year old cat with IBS. I first started with the Revolution and still own two of them. They worked ok but are extremely frustrating to clean out. The waste container and brush areas are hard to clean 100%. The "waste" material builds up and there is no perfect way to clean out the parts. This machine is more powerful, has better suction, and is much easier to maintain and clean. It works faster and gets out most of the mess quickly. Do not hesitate to upgrade to this model. It is worth the price. It is extending my cat's life in this home........ ... show more

This carpet cleaner is amazing! It cleans incredibly well and much faster compared to my old one. My carpets look fresh and spotless in no time. Pay attention to the reviews, I read them and still tried to give it a chance simply because of the power everyone was talking about. It does have power, it does steam for spot treating prior to a deep clean, the problem is while it is on steam it does not push easily because there is no power to the wheels. When in steam/clean mode, it worked great the first time, this is the second time I used it, my tug is soaking wet and it does not want to suck it up very well! The only other option it has is dry mode, when in dry mode it doesn’t suck very hard and only try’s to “dry” a very wet area. When I pulled off of the rug onto hard tile floor I notes the cleaner was loosing a LOT OF DIRTY WATER! So what it does suck up, it seems to be putting right back onto the carpet. The clean water tank is not that large and for a 5 x 7 rug I had to add 3-4 tanks ( I did used it with cleaner and went back and used it without cleaners, while trying to suck up water in between washes) you can see the water puddles as the wheels move over the carpet. And honestly it doesn’t smell “fresh” but like dirty musty water. Very Disappointed in this one especially for the cost of it! I was hesitant due to having problems with Bissel before and due to reviews. But my hopes were bigger than the machine was! Also the brushes are not removable to clean out. You can take the lid off above them but that is it! ... show more

I really like this product. It’s easy to use, very effective at cleaning up nasty pet poop and pee and if you add vinegar to the water, it helps to block the residual odor that draws the animals back to the site. I finally broke down and I purchased this Bissell. I had been researching it and reading all the “Worst” reviews because I wanted to see what the worst thing about it was according to the people who bought the machine. BUY IT BEFORE YOU CONSIDER HIRING PROFESSIONALS!! Because I was considering hiring someone to do it. The major traffic stains came out with ease!! I’ve only shampooed the carpet in the picture once!! And I honestly didn’t even use the recommended cleaning solution that Bissell recommends (Although I Certainly WILL NOW) But that definitely SOLD ME after using this machine! I have no complaints and I was leaving a review for this machine no matter how the outcome was. PROS: Weight and Ease of setup from my front door to ready to clean the carpet only took 20 minutes!! Works better than I even expected and if you want to deep clean your carpets and keep them clean this is the best bang for your buck!! Water Tank capacity wasn’t that bad! I wanted a deeper clean and the tank capacity was easy to switch out and get back to work! The cleaning of the machine and the accessories were all easy to clean after use!! The plastic parts are plastic so they can be broken! Read the instructions how to remove them before you start cleaning the machine and you’ll be fine!! ... show more

    • Does an excellent job when it is being used but leaks when not in use

Cleans spots well and does a good job on wall to wall rugs and the steam helps to get out stubborn stains. HOWEVER, now it leaks water onto the floor even though it is not being used at all. The clean water tanks leaks the water out for some reason so the mfr says it is a defective clean water tank which is arriving today. Hopefully this solves the problem otherwise it is going in for repair. ... show more

    • You have shedding pets and area rugs? You need this!

A boxer has short hair, and percentage wise, sheds as much as the Shepherd Husky mix, just with shorter hairs. I have had two other, smaller rug/carpet, upholstery cleaner, but they met their match in Bella and Scout. This one has two brush rollers, preheats steam, a long cord and a dirty water tank that will not make you stop right after you get your groove up. This one also set the nap up and left no area for the dog hair to hide. I noticed that rolls of long dog hair were pushed out if the edges of the roller housing, and mud went into the tank. Not sure if that is a feature/benefit, or if I didn’t use it correctly. The clean up was very easy and no icky smell of trapped yuck met my nose the next day. The price is pretty good, and would have been better if I had not tried two smaller units first. Oh, well. I have not tried the upholstery cleaner yet, but the dogs perceive a clean rug as a challenge they are always ready to accept. The odds are a bit more even now. ... show more
